I liked TK when he was more about his gangsta shit. He's been on his mature shit for too long and he can't rock it cause all he had going on for him was his image, not his tricks.
Sad but true
its crazy when someones image is bigger than their skating. Anytime i see an edit with him its usually the same k grind or fakie board slide down a rail. Its insanely predictable, i feel bad for people who have it the other way and are extremely talented but because they don't have an image they can't flourish like the way Tk has in the last 10 years. Maybe he knows his days are numbered now and is just holding on to whatever he can because i don't ever hear anybody ever say " that new TK part was sick man! i watch it before i go skate to get pumped".
hasn't skateboarding (recently) always been about marketability than
just skill? didn't we just go over this in that foundation thread about sierra fellers? if tk sells boards, helps baker promote their image, and kids respond well to him than he's doing what he's supposed to do in terms of the business side of things.
shit, look at bianca chandon. they don't even have a team or official videos yet but their shit is selling out just because of an image.
