So why exactly did Shane O'neill leave King of the Road in 2011?

I was just recently going back and watching all of the king of the roads. I'm in the middle of the 2011 KOTR right now and noticed that Shane O'neill just disappears in the middle of it.

Is there a reason why he left the trip? I thought I remember seeing an interview with Shane about what exactly happened, but I either can't find it or I made it up in my head or have it confused with someone else.

Nah you're right he talked about it at some video premier. Probably was the chronicles 1 premier because I remember koston & Theotis were in that clip as well. It was some type of family emergency or death of a relative
