Also, what ever happened with Duffel and Fallen? Had that one ad and then nothing. Sure it's been discussed somewhere but I never saw any real reasons as to why it didn't work out.

i think they wanted him to ride for fallen apparel or something like that but he was on a different clothing company and didn't want to leave so they booted him

Yeah he got into a fight with Baker's Beagle. Vans downtown showdown? I forget where and why.

Clearly Beagle mistook him for Freddy Krueger.

I have the mag somewhere. I believe it was in Transworld. The next month's issue Transworld apologized for running the ad. Stating something along the lines of it being a mistake and Duffel didn't actually ride for Fallen.

Maybe Jamie submitted the ad a little premature or something and then Duffel bailed at the last minute??

At Beagle's level of stoneage, it's not unbelievable for this to be true. He just thought he was doing everybody a favor.

that was at maloof and beagle came up behind when corey was standing up on some sorta ledge and pulled him down and punched him a few times corey had no chance and was basically caught off guard/cheap shotted and beagle ran off with security chasing him, beagle never got caught and hid in the parking lot. all because supposedly duffman fondled beagles slutty girlfriend way prior to the pathetic beagle beat down. I mean for fuck sakes corey is in zip up cowboy boot platforms.

I just went and watched his parts.
Pretty gnarly and some cool shit in there. Cataclysmic abyss part was really good!

I still dont think hes ever been uber popular though. No big shoe deals, no transworld video(i dont think),  hopefully sponsored. By loreal for all that hair dye lol

He did... Right Foot Forward. Surprised nobody mentioned it. That part sucked though, fuck that fool.

That's the story I heard too. You only have to look at the way Beagle is punching to know he's unco. Duff probably would've won if it was one on one face to face. Then again -  it would never have gone down like that because Beagle is a clown.

I thought the story with Fallen was that Duffel was all set to get on, but while he was out filming with the Chief, he got a clip, some sort of a high risk gnarly maneuver since it's Duffel you know. He was psyched he got the trick, but Chief told him he needed to do the trick again to get a second angle.  Duffel was not down with risking it just to do the trick a second time, so they got into an argument that ended with him quitting Fallen, throwing off his kicks, and walking home from the spot shoeless.

I don't remember where I heard this, if it was gossip or from a reliable source. Seems like it was reliable though. I hope it is really what happened, cause it sounds pretty fuckin cool of Duffman.

Oh, and Foundation better not kick him off. That shit would be whack.

This photo belongs in the "Skaters who embarrass you thread."

The Duffman is not my favorite, but Foundation kicking him off would be lame.  I love Strubing, but Corey made that brand relevant for a long time.
