Ok,

You must be new to the Skateboard game.  This is real industry talk.  "It's all about who you know".  And that's real.

nice.

I downloaded a program called "Magic Dvd ripper" from OINk.  It seemed to work pretty well.

When I rip a dvd...what's my best quality to size option?

It should technically be full quality. Normally skate videos are 1-3 gigs, because in actually they aren't that full.

If you throw it back onto another DVD, you'll have the same quality.

Shrinking DVD9's to DVD5's are the only way you can lose quality ripping.
