Why people drop a 40 bill on skate insoles when the pros make it much better and more cost effective. The ultra thins are the stone nuts super comfortable and thicker in the heel. Perfect foot placement. Footprint and Remind survive solely from marketing, they use cheap foams and pro skaters names, super questionable... Save your money and trust your doctor.

I had em as a kid and honestly couldn't much difference. And seeing as Eva was invented by soletech and adopted by all of the show industry, I think skate stuff is decent . I mean it is purposed exactly for skating instead just being general support.

Believe it or not skating puts less stress (not wear) on shoes than most team sports. If you need a beefy heel for launching El Toro, a super thin feel for tech the Dr. has you covered. It disappoints me the skate shoe insole companies actually exist let alone get good reputations.

Ive only used dr scholls

No idea what they are called?? But I have flat feet and they have good options for the arch

I gotta say Dr. Schools have served me well I haven't worn any in years but I used to wear the cheap $15-$20 ones from Walgreens all the time & they were durable enough for many uses with great cushioning. The "athletic" ones with the shank guards go perfect with dunks.

Um, pretty sure EVA foam has been used in shoes since at least Onitsuka Tiger's 1950's and 60's running shoes.

Running a pair of these, some Ultracush HD (gel ones), FP Gamechangers, and Remind Medics (older model).
I run them depending on what shoes I'm using. The Vans feel good but, after a while the ball of my foot hurts. FP provide solid support but, if you use them for a long time the arch starts hurting me a bit. Finally, the Remind just kinda blow. Dr. Scholls are better all around but, they bug my arch a bit.

footprint insoles are not a gimmick, ive tried all the best stock stuff from the vans era pro gel premium insoles, the ole supra gel insoles when they were actually nice, the soletech stuff, and none of them really helped in the long sessions.

first time i got footprints i did think, damn these are a gimmick. i had had the first ones that were just supposed to mold to your arch, then the crappy yellow kingfoam ones that just eventually crumbled up, then i gave it one last chance and got the footprint elites.

trust me they DEFINITELY work, i first threw them in some janoskis and i never have had any impact problems since til now. i thought maybe it was me and swapped back to stock and it didnt work out, my perma heel bruise was feeling the pain. if you have an arch get the elites they are some kind of magic

Agreed.  A few years back I went to a foot and ankle specialist after a broken toe.  He just asked me what kinds of activities I do and if I wanted some orthopaedics, since they were covered by my insurance.  I put my foot in a box that made a 3-D image.  He sent it off and a few weeks later new insoles showed up.  They've held up great for years.  He said they retail for $400.
