I can get why someone 'd try to look past ideology when it comes to artists like Death in June (jkjhnsn part in purple) as you could argue Douglas P's a good musician but jesus christ the highway murders suck so that argument goes out of the window
iirc death in june has some history of anti-racist activism. idk too much about him but it seems much more apparent that he's just trying to be edgy (which is really shitty imo and notfuckwithable at all). compared to these dudes who are very clearly on some aryan brotherhood shit.
I'm not into DIJ (just to be clear) and I know there's no definitive verdict on DIJ's nazism/ racism but I feel the edgelord argument often gets thrown up as defense/ smokescreen when talking about actually racist bands/ musicians/ artists (as with HWM, if you'd call them that('that' referreing to bands/ musicians/ artists)). So that was why I compared them, but then again the comparison is useless cause one actually is a 'good' band and the other is a dog's breakfast.
edit: feel like I'm rambling a a bit but what i wanted to say was something like this:
Someone could say:
-I like DIJ because I like the music and I agree with their ideology
-I like DIJ because I like the music and I don't care about the ideology
-I like DIJ because I like the music and I don't think they're actualy racist, just edgy, which is lame but something I can see past.
opposed to someone saying the same about HWM
'cause they suck
