maybe people like a certian look or feel but dont like a company?
There's nothing wrong with companies using standard designs, certian things work very well for skateboard shoes, wether it be for flex, durability, shape or asthetics. Theyre shoes, this conversation is brought up all the time, the same people bitch about the same things and yet companies arent changing what they do. Why? because it sells. vulcanized shoes are cheaper to make and they retail for less(usually), but they dont last or offer much in the way for bruised heels or support. so moms get pissed for shoes lasting 2 weeks and demand there kid gets some thick ass fullgrain leather shoes with a toecap or something, and then he cant feel his board, his skateboarding slumps and he goes back to what he knew. buy what you like, but please stop bitching about what everyone else is doing in the shoe industry. shoes look like other shoes, they suck, they blew up ina week. blah blah blah.
doing a million kickflips will do that to any basic suede shoe, vulk or not. it isnt common sense. although some regular cupsole shoes last longer but ive seen kids destroy an emerica heretic in 2 weeks. it's all relative to how you skate, how often and the climate.
I don't like chocolate icecream but i dont sit around and bitch to everyone about it.
It's one thing to actually discuss why so and so's shoe is bad, the experience you had and give specific reasons, but to just give the standard one liner....
bah fuck it.
