I’m going to guess Stevie wanted Times Square LeBron Ad campaign money for a phrase he doesn’t own in any legal that will run once in a skateboard magazine and likely be forgotten just as quickly.

There was a collab between Stevie and Kalis with Transworld where they used the phrase. Is that enough for you to stop giving it up to Nike? Stevie may not have copywrote the phrase or whatever, but fuck Nike and their idea-less marketing team. How many years did they have to come up with a campaign, and the best they could do was a non-rider’s magazine video part released in 1999? Too notch work everybody!
