Nyjahs mom said in a interview he got paid more as an “am” than a pro for element, that would be a monthly pay but add on his board royalties from decks/completes he would be doing well.

Skaters invited to street league and X games and dew tour and shit all get paid just to show up. Even if you get last place or dotn even skate in street league but you show up still, you get $5,000. Nyjah has won like 20 street leagues and a bunch of maloof money cups back when those were a thing. Gets nike checks, monster checks are prolly $10,000 - $20,000 a month just from monster. He wins everything. won the last Xgames. even if you get 2nd or 3rd or 4th you still get dummy paid. times that by 30 and you have millions. Surely nike and monster match his contest winnings as well so if he wins $250,000 for 2nd place at street league, he still walks with half a mil. thats just for a weekend of skating.

I doubt that Element pays anyone based on board royalties, Element is more of a lifestyle/clothing brand than anything, the riders are payed like ambassadors on any sorta major company. I would assume everyone just gets a straight up salary based on their value to the company.

I was behind the Tahoe in traffic for the us surf open . His plates read sk8lyfe not even kidding. Nyjah also lives a few blocks away and Ishod lives acrosss the street. They all make stupid Nike money seeing as Ishod has an at least 3-4K month apartment and that house in philly. I often park in front of Ishods house . It lead to an odd encounter once.
