Shoes You Want Re-Released

I had at least 10 pairs of the lucas pro. My favourite skateshoe of all time. I would support a re-release. Still have one pair in grey saved. I also have one pair left of the ADV version without the toecap but those are kinda meh. I am still wondering if the shoe was very successful because it looked so different to anything on the market at the time. Anybody got some insight?

Silas1 treatment: so far ahead of the game that it didn't sell that well but if the brand had enough foresight it would now be one of their better selling models.

My guess with current Adidas SB though is that they also couldn't actually make these models to the same quality as when they were first released. All speculation of course

Then feedback from stores was to make a clean version, which was the adv, but that came when the toecap fever started so it just fell flat again and it only lasted 1 or 2 seasons... So basically bad timing for both.

it is still the best example of Adidas taking some great tech and low key incorporating it into the shoe.  the Sprint Skin is perfect for skateboarding and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the mesh used on the Lucas Premiere. 

I still have 2 pairs of the Lucas Pro that I occassionally skate.  I'd skate em more, but I dont want them to die off completely. 

I was 100% down for Adidas until Away Days released... and it's not so much that the video fell flat and it has NOTHING to do with the skating... but since then the team has gotten bloated, the edits are lacking the 'soul' of their prior travel-edits, and there's more of a push towards expensive team models and less emphasis on the pro-models.

Their sihlouettes were really clean.. Liked the dylan mids, artos, the filter really much when I they were available..

The Puigs were sick. Loved mine. One of the few shoes I've skated recently about which I have no complaints. Unfortunately, the City Cup is probably their attempt to fill the void.

Does anyone remember accels before roughly 2004 being way better? Among some other details, the toe box was longer, pointier, and had a more responsive flick. I forget exactly when, but es and a few other shoe brands started selling at malls, and after that the accel was much stubbier. The accel reissues capture that post-2004ish era, and in my opinion that is a huge bummer

I also remember them as being mostly black with purple accents but there was more going on. Either way I still want that fucking shoe as I remember it. All black mid with purple piping and accents. Had to try and skate in fucking Romeos for 10 months until my mom could afford another pair of skate shoes for me.

Glad that lots of people said the first rowley shoe. I skated so many pairs, definitely an all time favorite. Also would like to see pretty much any iPath shoes brought back. Especially Cats with the og sole. Would also be cool with grasshoppers, locust and the yogi (Matt Field's pro model) coming back.

Glad that lots of people said the first rowley shoe. I skated so many pairs, definitely an all time favorite.

I wonder why they ever stopped making them.  Seemed like they were really popular.  It’s been so long that I don’t even remember how they skated.
