yeah, he had great colourways. I had them in navy/ white but always lusted after them in grey with black accents

Yeah I think I would have thought them a bit too much back then, but they hit the fucking sweet spot now. God damn I loved those shoes, not only because they were the shoes that I started to really learn tricks in

Regular accel plus before es chaged the shape and made the toe rounder. I also wish vans would rerelease the off white/black tongue/white sole colorway half cabs with the thinner tongues.

Nike SB Air Zoom FC

Not this color way per se but the model. The FC Classic is cool too but I like the sole on this one.

This CW is pretty damn dope though.

Edit: Aha its a Doernbecher cw. Would be hard to get even if they did retro it.

miss these sooo much! I had a pair in black leather. they were part of like an anti racist campaign they were doing at the time. said “no” on the back of the left shoe, and “hate” on the back of the right.

It seems so dumb to me they didn't make this a standard Adidas model that was always available for people who like this type of skate shoe. It doesn't fit with the "brand image" they go for I suppose. The closest I got to these were some hideous outlet Adidas neo's that had a similar toe box but were mid top. They skated very well though.

The shoe appears to be based off the vintage Adidas Zx 750 trail running shoe as well as taking cues from the dunk and other skate shoes.
