I never saw these either. I loved the K1's though and also loved the Omar's so I bet these would've skated great too.

The only other colorways (^besides these two) I ever saw of the K1 Mids was a Black suede and a Gray mesh pair but they both had a big strap across the midfoot. My brother had the Black ones for chilling and he dug the strap

I think they may be talking about the Es Koston 1, but I will say that the Nike SB Koston 1 is one of my all time favorite shoes. They skated incredibly well.

Shit, I should have deff said Nike instead of OG, I was thinking Nike koston 1 which is also one of my favorite shoes. I was too poor to get a pair of es koston a when they were around

You are right it is a great aesthetic touch to shoes, I wish there were more dipped toe sneakers. NB seems to do it with their Made in US sneakers every now and then. Those aren't skate shoes though.

I'm a big proponent for the Koston 1, it was the first shoe that really made me realize that core brand shoe tech was so fucking over-complicated and that I was justified in selling my soul to Nike.

I really liked PJ's first New Balance 533 model, the Stratford. I still look for it online. I bought a pair off cold budweisers and the flick was great. I got a 9 and they felt too snug, though, and I usually wear 9 or 9.5.

I wish Lakai would keep the Staple reissue in rotation, that shoe's got a great flick as well. Did they ever make a Staple XLK? Is that possible?

I was hearing good things about the Converse Metric, I'd like to try that out one day.

The Adidas Busenitz mid that came out a few years ago looked really tempting. I could never lock in a pair.

I also wanted to skate the Adidas Matchcourt that Nakel designed, with the three shades of blue for the stripes.
