While Guy wasn’t putting out footage and shit, I think he alluded to skating around a little... even if it was just down to skid row to cop whatever he was on. Just being on your board, even if it’s just ollieing up and down curbs and shit will do a lot to keep some muscle memory. In prison, the whole idea is you can’t do too much of anything, certainly not even stand on a board. He will be off his board for years. There will still be talent there I’m sure, but I’m unfortunately willing to bet it will be more like Penny’s later years: some glimmers of brilliance but otherwise a shadow of his former self.

But I honestly hope I’m wrong.

He's gonna be out before he's 30 years old (on good behavior that is) and is one of the most gifted skateboarders ever.  It's up to him what he decides when he gets out but if he decides he wants to go all in on skateboarding than we will all be in for a real fuckin treat.  I think those odds are good.

I think he's good enough to do it. Although, even if he's released at the earliest possible date, it may be trouble to actually go to spots and not risk violating probation by trespassing or whatever. Maybe more tranny footage, and I'd pay money to just watch him film a part of tech ledge tricks at the Courthouse.

MJ said in that what youth interview he didn't touch a skateboard for two years after fully flared and had the best part in pretty sweet. Jeremy rogers said he didn't own a board for a year and came back skating just as good as always even though he didn't give a fuck anymore. Talented people just got it like that. If I'm not skating for a month I need to relearn ollies, but I've seen one of my friends who's very talented come to their very first session after not skating for 4 years and kill it pretty close to as hard as they did before by the end of the session. It's very unfair.

How the fuck is he a paid professional still? I remember I was bummed on him starting to pile out in 2014 when HUF was on tour because I liked him alot before that, and here we are about to enter 2019... Still not seeing shit.
