you see a kid coming to the spot, never heard of him or saw a video of him. You think to yourself nah, but he actually rips?

If i saw Jamie Foy and a group of skaters roll up to a spot, I would probably guess that he was the filmer of the group

Definitely encountered the opposite at my local parks. Guy rolls up in a fast car tatted up looking like he's going to rip then he practices some stationary shove its on a zero board.

Can't think of anyone in person by their clothes, maybe age and weight though...but first thing that comes to mind:

that soundcloud skater who shoots his semi-auto or whatever in his skate clips on IG...if he rolled up with his gun that would be deceiving

Pretty sure it was Greco dressing like a businessman to be deceiving while skating DTLA

Same goes for a couple clips of Dane Vaughn wearing a reflector vest looking like a construction worker in Korea Town. He might of had a hard hat too

I think Sk8rats was making construction looking clothes, not sure if that was to be intentionally deceiving or for fashion, or just picking something random to screen print on haha

Sam Hitz wore one of those throughout that last KOTR. Maybe its a thing..

The way Duffel used to wear those jeans that literally looked like they were spray painted onto his legs did not look like the choice of clothing to wear jumping down huge sets of stairs.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It’s the courage to continue that counts.

If we're talkin about judging someone based on their appearance..

I don't know if that's the opposite, all the fast car dudes that are tatted up that I've seen pull up to the park suck. Their main focus is cars, chicks and tats, unless they're some AM or Pro I could see it more so.

Gonz gets a pass cause he's a god among mortals. Dude could dress like a 13 year old emo and we'd all still love him. As for the dudes that you think will rip, actually being trash, it happens to me so much it's sickening. I just don't get it. But I do think it's amusing how many dudes you think will be massive kooks based on first glance actually shred.

He dresses like a millionaire
We used to skate on a sculpture by Henry Moore. Good times.

I can truly say 100% I never judged someone if they can skate or not by the way they dress or physical attributes.
I thought it was common sense to never judge a book by its cover but what do I know, I'm only a meager Marine Biologist ....... Little Rushmore bite in there lol

Lacey Baker looks like a racist man from a distance but upon closer inspection she's more of a SHARP.

Me, I look homeless, I wear dress paints with rips and ripped up raggedy vans. Usually a plain black t shirt

Shout out to marine biology. I like to watch the live streams from MBARI and love going to see the Woods Hole campus.

I however am judgemental because it’s funny more than half the time. It is however fun when some dorky dude ends up ripping and we high five. Crazy Frankie is pretty sick.

Honestly, Jason Lee. Growing up I knew he was in movies, but never guessed he skated.
