Why would drugs turn you into a kook if half the people we consider legends were addicted to at least cocaine at some point in their lives?

When I’m at the TF, I yell out every trick I’m gonna do right before I try it…

I cheer myself if I land it.

I’m going for full on kook status

you could wax shit you aren’t even gonna skate if you wanna get a bit extra kookiness

I've never done a fly out benihana. I feel I am missing out on one of life's great pleasures.

For those lucky enough to have flown with eagles and done this trick, does it feel good or does it feel as stupid as it looks?

Quote from: ChuckRamone

"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

Being a kook 101:

-Mallgrab

-Shop from sports stores and skateshops at malls

-Skate once every couple of months or less (dude I'm a causal skater, no you're a fucking kook)

-Do drugs (or at least talk about your experience as a pro drug consumer, giving tips, etc..)

What are other things?
Shalom

Level 4 kook here.

I don't really care too much about how I or others hold their boards.

If I can get the same product for cheaper from my local mall rather than drive 30km out to the city to a legit skate shop, then I'll do so.

I'm much better at music than I am at skating and after having taken a bad wrist injury earlier this year I don't skate anywhere near as often as I once did unfortunately.

I do enjoy drugs, definitely not the type to base my personality around them though.

The 30 year old local who spouts " Less wax go faster " to the kids who are actually trying to improve when he's spent the past 15 years doing nothing but nose slides and boardslides.

Being a kook 101:

-Mallgrab

-Shop from sports stores and skateshops at malls

-Buy a GoPro and show everyone your POV moves

-Skate to impress girls

-Longboard

-Full safety gear skating street (if you're older than 10)

-Go to a Street League event with a handwritten sign to support your favorite athlete

-Quit skating (no brainer)

-Skate once every couple of months or less (dude I'm a causal skater, no you're a fucking kook)

-Beat up security guards or someone older/weaker (to show your inner rebellious bad boy)

-Pressure flips (each and every variation possible)

-Do drugs (or at least talk about your experience as a pro drug consumer, giving tips, etc..)

-Push mongo

-Benihanna fly outs at your local all day long

-Wax every obstacle in sight (the more wax the better)

-Ask every new kid you meet to play S.K.A.T.E (best way to show your dominance is by winning every game of S.K.A.T.E)

What are other things?
Shalom

If they only skate every few months how can they be good enough to beat everyone at S.K.A.T.E.?

Bring like 15 dudes to a spot and playing loud music for only like 3 of them to actually skate

Bringing your non skating ass friends to smoke weed at the spot when its in a school zone or otherwise requires some sort of discretion

Bringing your tagging ass friend to the spot who procedes to catch tags in the entire general area

Serious ass filming mission vibe that dominates an entire spot/park and not being respectful to the dudes just trying to skate on a day off of work

Throwing your board around/ tantrums, dog you aint AVE and this aint the DC video, settle the fuck down

Skating once or twice a month doesn’t make you a kook, especially when life gets in the way.

i wanted to say something about that too. you cant always be skating often
