the poll is about the style that i posted an image about. thin stripe to the side of the bolts. everything else either doesn't have a name or the name hasn't been brought up?

elsewhere on SLAP i read that the four-block/three-stripe style like Schwarzenegger posted was called something like "world grip" bc they used to send their grip in pieces rather than rolled up?

i tried to do the line rapscallion shows on my new cruiser, but its slightly uneven...

i've always ran a stripe just to differentiate between nose and tail depending on how i am feeling when i set up a new board

lately i've been running it on the toe side after watching soul crusher and being super stoked on mingus gamble's part

Has to do more where you flick your kf from. I hardly ever do heelflips or sw heelflips so used to do it goofy foot front foot toe side. Now i just put a stripe on the tail a la Gideon Choi.

yeah, i always thought pro's did it for easier flick release, less toe wrap, with new grip, board, shoes.

Yeah the crooked cut would drive me insane.
I have seen some people out in the wild who leave about a 1/2in stripe on the edge of the flick side, it doesn't look too bad and I've found myself wondering how it would effect kickflips having a little slick section at the end of your flick.
Sometimes my kickflips reverse rocket, like nosedive a little more than I like. I wonder if that stripe could help level them out or if this is just more placebo gear madness I don't need in my life.
