Does not matter. The fucked industry feels like every single game does not "meet the expectation" when it sells 5+ mil copies. No gimmicky hardware will save the them. Get back to software, you fucking idiots.
Also, the concept is old as shit.
Dude the platform pretty much is software-based. OnLive tried to do game streaming like 10 years ago and flopped because they were a little too ahead of their time. If anyone has the infrastructure and resources to pull this off, it's Google. And while they've failed with shit like Google Plus & Google Glass, they've invested so much into Stadia (and all the things they're incorporating into youtube as well) that I feel like they're gonna really make a strong attempt to shakeup the industry.
I play all the consoles so while I don't expect this to be my "Main" system, if its a decently priced subscription service then why not cop? You don't even need their first party controller you can just use whatever gamepad you have on whatever screen you got around the house. I'm expecting their first party IPs to be Fortnite/PUBG clones but hopefully they come through with a couple innovative AAA titles to surprise us as well
