Posted a bunch of vans and cons, mostly size 9 with a few 8.5s and 9.5s in the mix, free shipping. Couple of special half cabs (Bluetile Lounge collab and Mike Gigliotti collab). Mention SLAP in dm's on there and I'll take some dollars off.

Moving back to only classic B/W Cons and classic B/W Vans - listed up a couple pairs of 2 Riser Pads Vans Old Skool Ghillie's - both size 10.5

One worn a handful of times, never skated, the other brand new - two listing for each, one unboosted buy now price, other is boosted for the traction.

Feel free to throw over a message on them if interested, happy to cut a deal.

Love that the Fred Gall cover is 2x the cost of all the other Thrashers you have listed.

Woof, almost done washing allllll my wool, goose down, and gore-tex

Washed 45 garments today

Had two clotheslines set-up, drying racks, buncha tennis balls to throw in the dryer with the goose down pieces

Pretty much completely out of all my Nikwax detergents

There's three coats that I have to have dry cleaned, which is annoying

They have too much fur and leather and stuff

I think I'm going to shoot all my photos for this batch on top of an old Mexican blanket

I drew up this thing to help people understand the measurements

Bless you for posting the measurements and for having them make sense.

So many cloth measuring tapes slopped haphazardly across a shirt… so many « it’s an xl but it fits like a large. » So much vanity sizing and reverse vanity sizing.

There’s a special vip lounge in Valhalla for the ones who measure their ebay and depop clothes.

Hah, thanks!

I've seen some really bad ones lately

Also if your shit has an AI description, there's a big chance I'm not even gonna bother you with a message and will just buy from someone else for a higher price

-

Still chugging along. I think I'll have ALL outerwear clean and dry and hung up in a couple hours. Except the G-1 jacket and two B-9 parkas that need to be dry cleaned

Running a little behind since outerwear sells best from October through April

If I still have any left by May 1st, I'll pull it and re-list on October 1st

Once I'm done with all the wool, gore-tex and goose down, it'll be smooth sailing just chucking a buncha shit in the washer and dryer

Probably going to sell a lot of hats and tees in bundles/lots - however much I can fit in a large priority mail flat rate

-

Update, got 35 items cleaned and put away today

Now that I've got the difficult stuff out of the way, it should be smooth sailing from here, just pants shirts & hoodies

Took my raw 1992 501s, fringed leather chaps, some UL silnylon rain jackets, the leather G-1 and the two B-9 parkas and moved them into my own closet, so that everything on the racks in the storage room is clean and ready to wear. The stuff that'll be sold as-is or dry cleaned is like, quarantined in my closet hahah

I gotta dig into the winter hats and gloves and hopefully start photographing and measuring things

I've put a few things in a bin for donating

Have an N-3B parka that isn't worth the work to sell online, so I'm gonna put it in my passenger seat and next time a houseless person comes up to my window at an intersection I'ma give that coat

Prolly gonna just keep any warm gloves, hats, coats, boots that I can't sell in the car to give to homeless people directly, fuck Goodwill

Also made a new template for my listings and did a pants measurement key as well

Got 130 pieces cleaned and put away so far. All the outerwear on the rod is clean, and the top two racks are clean, so it's just those bottom two shelves above the shoes left to do before I get into hats and shit and start posting everything

@swongolianbbq what is your depop? love these write-ups

Thanks!

My eBay name is electricpeak

I pulled all my listings on depop after like, a day

The types of messages I was getting... It was not the vibe I'd want for a place I sell stuff on. And hearing horror stories about disputes. And that it seems like a lot of people on there are actual children

I don't have anything up right now. Soon enough though

First thing I sold - an unworn pair of in-box Vans Authentics - the buyer contacted Depop to dispute it! Tried to skirt around me, and I’m like nuh-uh, not happenin. Depop did right by me, thankfully. I’ve put up hats for eight dollars and folks will counter with four!! What are we even doing here??

Hard thing is, it’s another social media site. Unless you’re on there everyday, active, responding to messages n’ whatnot they will bury your posts. It’s exhausting.

Good look on your venture. Your care and organization is truly impressive.

Yeah you may be right. Even though I know Mike had a ‘stache at various points, my mental image of him is clean shaven. And his neck looks thicker than I’d have imagined. But I think you’re right.

There should absolutely be a toaster that cooks MJs face into the bread. Ideally with Scottie in the other slot.

Updated the Depop - gear (shoe) madness never ends.

Tried on NB# 770’s at my local, bought a few pairs… and then grabbed a few more via 303 sales.

Truthfully, not sure what I was thinking as they’re not my style at all - but 3/4 are brand new + one worn once — hope to throw someone some good deals.

Justin Henry 440v2’s up there too.

All 10.5, shoot offers!

Been super depressed, but at least during that previous burst of motivation I already washed and folded everything

I bought a white shower curtain, and I already had a super bright ceiling light and another light too. Bought a metal straightedge.

trying to get pumped listening to dead Kennedys

Been using a new notes app and got a template for listings going and everything

My ADHD ass will get some shit actually listed one day hahahah it's almost May and I have a whole rack of parkas :|

Test shots, fucking with lighting

New straightedge to be used in listing photos

Edit - gonna go hunt for a straightedge that isn't so reflective and fuckin up the white balance, and has a better contrast so you can see the numbers and lines easier

Decided to start making titles like this: Size, Brand, model, where it's made, etc in that order
For example

"Medium Filson Tin Cloth Cruiser Vtg USA Waxed Canvas Oil M 38"

Or

"Small Arc'teryx Alpha SV Men's Canada Gore-Tex Pro ReBird S"

That way the size, followed by the brand, is always the first thing people see, and I can stack whatever bullshit keywords I want till I get to 80 characters after that
