Just received these Opera boards
It's not mentionned on the catalog (neither obvious on the image) but 8.25" and 8.5" have a "symmetrical sticker" and actually are symmetrical (and squarish)
8.75" is not a twin (rounder nose, pointier tail)

the twin is a south-central board from Baltimore Board Brewery. it has straight rails so it's a more fuller shape, but the tips are pointier than the baker b2 "squared" shape for comparison

Blue is standard 8.25 from BBB
Purple is 8.0 Baker B2
Orange is the the the BBB Twin

As far as how to buy one. Order blanks or customs from BBB directly or find a small brand off IG that uses them. Track down a brand that uses South Central, which is pretty hard TBH

I've ridden 2 HLC in the past 2 yrs, PlanB and Roger, both felt very PSstix like but lasted longer than two weeks.

So more flex without it turning into a wet noodle after 3 sessions? Thinking of getting a few HLCs twins to try out, they're one of the few that do 8.75 twins.

I had one HLC 8.25 about a year ago (Sour). It felt a tad thicker and heavier than e.g. BBS decks and to be honest, I also felt that it went soggy faster, too. It felt kinda... soft.

Edit: I hope this is not the case for all HLC, 'cause there's a lot of nice shapes around made by HLC. I'm just hesitant to pull the trigger because of the earlier experience.

What's more -- I wonder if there's a difference between EU HLC and USA HLC wood? My deck was Euro.

Need to see what the 8.0 nose/tail dimensions are... I hit tactics today as there is no info, said should be up by end of week...

AWH only ordered the 8.25" version :(

Also, Black Nicole Hause deck is 8.25” x 31.92” x 14” WB FYI

Funny that I did a Dali Jack of Hearts design for our shop decks, and the Queen of Hearts was next on the list for this year... not anymore :(

I actually swapped from BBS to South Central, and get our Little Whale Skate Shop decks made at Baltimore Board Brewery now.

I used to skate the 8.0 Ishod, but I felt the tails were tiny and they sogged out immediately if I landed a flat ground kickflip slightly in the backseat.  I also had a few Welcome 8.0 evil twins and loved those, but it was a one and done run and I hated the graphic. Now I skate the South Central 8.0 twin, and have been for the past year and seems to have cured my madness. Also, you can also grab twins sometimes from Vu Skatehop, they get their decks straight from South Central.

Additionally, worth mentioning, BBB offers twin nose options as well if you want slightly more real estate.

I am in AU and being my own shop guy, I am good for wood (got too much really) but more than anything, I like to bring more awareness to your boards, just to help with the information / Woodshop thread and help you guys if more people want twins as per your info, which is good to see.

Thanks for the info (and effort too) with putting up this stuff.

I bought one of these on a whim cause i like the 8.5 ishod shape but want to go back down to an 8.25, and the kicks on the 8.25 ishod feel too small and pointy for me. Should be here in a few days so we’ll see what it looks like.

This one would have been my perfect shape a few years ago, wouldn't mind going back down from 8.5 for a change. The Ishod Twin Tails are just too pointy for my liking.

Sign me up for that Nicole 8.25 twin.  I'm still waiting for a reup of the Primitive twins.

I'm on the Heroin 8.25 twin just now after two Primitive 8.25s, and I'm liking it.  Not much of a readjustment needed.

Thinking about it, I must be coming up to 3 years straight on nothing but twin decks.

I just wish Welcome hadn't reneged on their promise to bring 'em back, and I wish Primitive would include some in every drop.  A man can dream, can't he?

Local just got one of the Nicole 8.25 twins in and it has a blunt shovel nose... FYI very wide, not pointy AT ALL

I also agree about Welcome... I am pissed welcome never re-upped their evil twin series, I really liked the 8.0" it was damn near perfect for me...

Any ideas on when Primitive may restock? I could do with a Jaeb pro model without that awful twin eagle graphic.

I'll be using a non-twin next as things stand.
