I was wondering when that site would be called out. I'd call it just another "non-profit" way of making money. Fitzpatrick is the pro of that idea! IASC (non-profit), USAS (the Gary Ream group to get skateboarding in the Olympics) non-profit, he has a non-profit school, a non-orofit "pro union", and now became the Reverend Jim. Yup, religious organizations also don't pay taxes. But Schmidt? He makes a lot of money to be running a non-profit. I've always wondered how the big skate businesses skate out of that conflict of interest. I also wonder if Schmidt and the Prof/Reverend are going to teach the children how the other little children make the boards in their sweatshops?

I think this is fucking great. I taught music at this camp once that had a workshop and the kids were making decks and tech deck skateparks all the time. If I was a kid and I went to school and my woodshop teacher was like "wanna make a deck?" I'd be psyched as hell.

Anything Fitz gets involved in is never an original idea. Except to become Reverend Jim http://www.reverendjim.com/

I love how he is trying to pass himself off as the world's first skateboarder. Nailing roller skate wheels to a board. Who didn't do that in that era? IASC tried (on their previous website) to pass off their executive Bernards as a skater by making the same claim. He nailed roller skates to a board, he's CORE man! hahahh Don't get me started on the IASC, I can't stop.

PS - Great subliminal message grimcity!

I WILL ADMIT THAT IT'S PROBABLY A COOL THING FOR A KID AND I'D MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE WANTED TO DO THAT AS A KID.

IT'S JUST HARD TO TRUST THESE DUDES AND YOU CAN'T HELP BUT TO JUST SEE RIGHT THRU IT.
