That was a good edit. It reminds me of an aspect of what all my favorite skateboarding videos have in common, the seeming capture of spontaneity, as opposed to heavy handed orchestration. I'm obviously just comparing it to Verso as well, as I enjoyed this much more.

There was a chance he was never going to skate properly again after those surgeries went wrong. He tells a story about going skating, trying to 50-50 a curb and just collapsing because his muscles couldn't hold his own body weight. He wasn't 100% for a long time.
