So stoked to take this out soon when the weather calms the fuck down:

Damn! i knew i should've bought one when it was sitting on the BC site!!!

It reminds me of the Jason Lee inspired board by Alex Olson although the tail on that is more square than tapered. been looking through eBay lately and damn! they're prices are getting pretty high! i'm almost tempted to take my 2nd one from my wallboard.

I finally got some rails for my setup at my local a few days ago but after skating for like 10 mins the screw became really loose to the point I just said fuck it and ripped them off. Any idea what went wrong?

were they rib bones?

That looks so good. I didn't see them sitting on the site at all, it was sold out the first time I saw it on there.

I wouldn't skate it either.  You did way too nice of a grip job on that thing for me to ever be able to step my feet on it

Quasi Jake Johnson 8.625 x 33
Indy Titanium 149 w/ soft bushings
Spitfire 99a F4 Busenitz pro edition
Rush ceramic bearings
M-80
Silverados

I've had really good luck with PS Stix over the past year so I wanted to keep that going.  I didn't intend on getting a board this wide but it just felt right standing on it at the shop.  It has a nice fat nose and tail with a long wheelbase.

Yup, no complaints at all.  They're just as fast as my Swiss-6 but stainless steel so you never have to worry about any rust or corrosion slowing you down.  I recommend buying the ones that are labeled as downhill bearings.  They're actually the same exact ones as their regular bearings but come with lube and wide flanged spacers http://www.rushbearings.com/longboarding/

Steve - KILLER setup, as always. Damn that's nice. How are you digging the over 8.5??? Beast.

Agreed on PS, I've been on a good streak myself with them.

EDIT: And keep your eye out on your mail. I just send you a set of ABX. Sorry for the delay.

Thanks, man!  looking forward to trying those out.

so far the 8.6 has been fine actually.  I've learned that board length and wheelbase matter a lot more to me than width.  I had that 8.5 Chapman that was 31.75L and I couldn't skate it to save my life.  This board feels great so far

14.75"  which is what my Sovrn's and 8.43 Real's had.  It's definitely perfect for me in terms of comfort and board control

don't know if this is the place to ask, but is there any correlation between 35th ave and 35th north? I've always wondered that.

It's probably the best deck I've had too. No complaints. Unfortunately the nose started to crack on me today. Still plenty of life left. For my next deck, I don't know if I should play it safe and get another Low Pro or try a Scumco.
