I'm ashamed of myself ... while in the mall waiting for my wife to grab some things she needed I walked into Zumiez to pass a few min ... they had a 8.06 full Real sitting there which I've wanted to try since the only reason I stopped skating Real's originally was that the smaller sizes started becoming more tapered and I couldn't deal ... well I couldn't resist the impulse buy :(

I will say though that I am really psyched on the size/shape of this board and will probably find a few more real/krooked this size to skate while waiting to have some made

Zumiez =( - it happens, I bout some STFs there once (no one else stocked'em).

I'm a fan of the full series, though I wish they'd make the 8.18 in a full - it has great dimensions!

I love that whole setup, coneklr. Had the same board and couldn't get down with the shape though. I like the tapered 8.06's so much more.
Also good looks on the fantastic mr fox gif, art

I love this thread. Got an 8.25 full shaped Krooked a few days ago and am really liking the shape. Decided to do some minimalist grip art as well.

Holy smokes some nice looking boards on this last page. Rob, Ducky, Noble, Twist, Bloke, L60, Art...this thread is no good for impulsive people...like me.   :-*

Thanks heritage  :D ;D

Means a lot cause this is the best board I've had in a long long time, it truly feels so me. A board to skate til it snaps or is chipped to death. I love it so

If I ever get a hankerin for a pointy board, I'm definitely trying out a b16 or a twin tail from deluxe. But for now I'm all about the biggest nose and tail I can find.

Someone needs to tell Reynolds to make a Baker SLAP board (with SLAP written in the Baker font) in that B16 size/shape.

Anyone on a DM or pen-pal basis with him?

Nice setup art!!!  I really like that graphic and the full shapes are awesome.  If I can find a 8.06 full slick next time, I think I'm gonna try one out of curiosity, have you had your hands on one yet?

Nope. ? Nope.  The polar is fantastic.  Just that the 8.25 was feeling a little small... so put on the REAL, which had been sitting around in my garage for months.

coneklr:  haven't tried a slick (since the early 90s), bet it's fun.  the full shape is great.  I always feel like there too much board under my feet with 8.5s, and 8.25 has been feeling small lately... so 8.38 is a perfect compromise.

Never tried the G016 shape, but the G033 shape is pretty damn close to the B16 in dimensions. The G033 is 8.5 x 31.875 with a 14.25 wheelbase, while the B16 is 8.475 x 31.875 with a 14.25 wheelbase. Pretty much just a hairs length off from being exactly identical. I stepped on my friends G033 once and it felt just like B16 just with a fuller nose and tail. I'd totally try one if Crailtap wood wasn't so questionable in quality.

Mike Carroll rides the G016, if it is good for him then it is good for anybody.

Maybe it's combination of the shape and graphic but this board is a dream to ride.

This is my biggest hang up, I've stood one a 33 at the shop yesterday and it felt fine but I'm super questionable about quality.. last time i truly skated a girl board i was like 60 pounds lighter, and not that i can't just grab two boards incase i don't like it i just want to settle into a board until christmas

I'm skating a GO27 this week (on the low) and I think Crail wood is fine. If anything maybe it's a little heavy, comparatively speaking to BBS boards, but that's it. I love the mellow concave.

EDIT: Nice kit Fufillthedream!
