Damn jealous of those conicals. How you like the super reds? Worth the extra change? I might have to purchase new bearings but I don't wanna pay that Swiss money, but I can't see myself with any other bearings
[close]
Just spend the Swiss money tbh, super reds are kinda garbage. Reds are garbage. I usually only fuck with square wheels

Thanks for the feedback and as much as I don't want  pay for em, I'll probably suck it up and get Swiss. I was honestly hoping for better feedback on super reds but deep down I knew better. Thank Pat!

I love 'em! I bought them randomly back in october, they were on sale and I found a 20% discount code here. I had a bit of trouble with getting the bushings right, but all my tricks are working, no issues at all

I'm gonna go ahead and say it, it's unlikely enough to care about other people's setups. It's already a strange thing that we here like to look at the same equipment assembled in different ways. But for fuck sakes I truly don't care about reading the bare minimum "I use indys" is this really something you have to half ass? Your setup thread post? A photo should be mandatory unless you are adding an anecdote.

where's the Townley board?

Didn't work out for me unfortunately.  It was listed as an 8.5 but measured 8.38 over the front truck and had a subtle taper to 8.25 over the rear truck.  Combined with a lot of concave and kick when I generally like flat boards

Agreed, the only wheel that I've found that I like as much as F4s. Nice and grippy, but still slide well

Real 8.38” FULL SE
Indy 159
54mm f4 conical full

I’ve been riding 8.5” full for a while but wanted to go smaller for a change.

The angle makes my trucks appear to stick out more than they actually do.  They stick out but it’s not that noticeable.

I've done the same combo(8.38 full and 159s) and really liked how it skated.
All you got is today, get out and skate.
