Is Htowns grip tape causing mud? I’m not quite clear on how that works yet.

Also I REALLY like this grip job. I’ve been into Frisco and vertical stripes lately.

Typically hate DSM boards as they usually have weird ass shapes. I cant stand boards with no tail, but this decks grown on me. The trucks are fairly new but have been fun so far

I enjoy everything about the Krux. They turn really great and the break in time is pretty much instantaneous, least for me. My other set up has some aces. While I definitely prefer the krux the aces come quite close. I have another pair of krux after these and I think I’ll keep riding them.

Hopefully, I can flip it like a tech deck.

Currently ridin a 8.6 X 32.25 just mostly doing flat to get some confidence back on board. Had a terrible session the other day, and while it is contributed to more things than my board, 32.25 was almost feeling a little too short.

I saw yours, and know those BA's are usually like 32.5-6 give or take. Really wanna try it and just wanna say, you'll definitely be able to rotate that board. This is the first 8.6 I've ever ridden and I've had some of my best kickflips on it and this is with a garbage ass knee. Love a bigger board dude.

I think what might make it harder, are those big 60mm.

Haha, I typed all this until I read what Lee said again, and feel kinda stupid. Hahah, I thought he said "Hopefully, I can flip it" suggesting that he was worried he wouldn't able to flip at all!

I've always skated 53mm Spitfire Classics/F4 Classics. My best tricks have gone down on those so why switch?

I had a hard time switching from 53 to 52 because even numbers feel like more of a commitment.

shalom!
Local shop was having a liquidation sale, and of the very slim pickings they had left I managed to find a Krooked board in my size. This news would be slightly more of a bummer if we didn't already have another better shop in the town so I'm taking my treasure and runnin'.

Krooked 8.38
Thunder 149
Spitfire F4 54mm 99d
Bones Super Reds
Mob Grip

Indy bolts (kinda long lol 1.25”)
Bones Red Ceramics!!!!

Back again with more impulse bought boards. This time Polar Football with Ace 44 and Spitfire 54 99a Lock-Ins. May switch with my 58mm F4’s though - but on the other hand I’d love to put my ~50mm Spitties on for it for make it a little more authentic but enjoy being able to lock into coping. Still absolutely loving these Ace’s and can’t see myself changing for quite a while.

Absolutely is! Like I said though it has a tiny tail and the nose is not as full as I thought it would be like on the Blind FUBK reissues which I’ve had also - so beware if you like a fuller shape (though to be fair you shouldn’t be skating a football shape in the first place)

I didn’t like 44s, AND I love full noses and tails too much. So I won’t fall back into that trap. Happy with my polar 1992 on 55s and my 8.5 FA on venture 5.8s for now.
