come on, besides the gripjob and rictas, thats not that bad of a set up.
[close]
cant forget the sticker, bolts, and almost kiddie colored trucks. obviously not the worst i have ever seen but i couldnt imagine buying all those parts and putting them together, let alone ride it and call it mine

I just wanted to look a little different from most people. I actually wanted the trucks, hardware and a few other decks to include not too much graphics or color. only black, white, and gray. but by chance at the local skateshop where I live, only the color choices were available for the deck and truck that matched the size I was looking for. So what can I do, actually I could just buy somewhere else outside the city where I live, but I also want to support a local skateshop in the city I live in ..

Take your time to warm up and stretch. Do some ankle strengthening and finally take some breaks. I’m sure you’re as excited to be back but take care of yourself.

@cosmicgypsies magenta continually puts out great graphics. But the homie looks more adorable.

What's the dimensions on that puppy.

The last Valls deck I bought was listed as 7.875 but was actually a pinch over 8

@RichardBarkley 8.375 x 32.2 x 14.25. On 149 hollow forged and 56mm wheels, will hopefully get to skate it this weekend. Sized down from 8.6 so excited to see how it skates.

18 Yinzer 8.55 x 31.62, 14.125wb
Indy 149s w/Bones Hard
F4 Conical Full 53mm
Hard Luck Six Balls
Shortys Silverados
Shop grip

A bunch of gear that got repurposed and turned into a covid complete. The Indys are a USA pair that I had been sitting on and the deck was on a cruiser set up that I wound up not really using. For a scrounger set-up, I really like it.

It's still out there just not that graphic but a few shops still have the polar 8.625 in stock.

Polar 8.625 has to be one of the best shapes I've ever skated, I've had a couple. This graphic for sure hard to find but the shape is out there

Do you have a top view of this at all? Keen to see how 55s fit on an 8.625

Here's a top view, it's pretty beat cause I've actually been skating it for like 5 or 6 weeks now. 55s on it are awesome and I actually usually skate 55s on an 8.5 no problems at all, I love it.

Birdhouse Raybourn 8.3 (BBS, quite steep)
Independent 149 hollow forged - first set of Indy's in 20 years. Used to ride them in the 90's but switched to Thunder around 2000 when Indy had the really bad batches.
Bones 100's V5 52mm
Swiss
Independent hardware
Mob

Weird going back to bushings that take a few sessions to work in - forgot about that. It's funny not knowing if your trucks are too loose or too tight.
I also started skating Supra Elevates with this set up and they feel great after a short session.

Nice setup. Thought about snagging a set of those Bones 100’s recently. How do they feel to you? I like the price point.

I skated those 100s years ago and they were pretty decent. I would definitely recommend them.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

It's been several years since I had a pair but they're great wheels. I stick with traditional STF's which are 103, so these are noticeably softer but not too soft. I grabbed them because we couldn't get the same shape in an STF, but I also grabbed a different shape STF that I'm going to shave into a conical shape if I'm not feeling these, or just next.

Yeah man, love the graphic too. :)
Swapped baseplates because the holes got stretched out (probably from having loose hardware) so while skating the trucks get shifted to the right or left.
