This eagle was supposed to be an 8.12, but it’s actually an 8.25
[close]

That is crazy!

I feel like the graphic has changed somewhat too, as I had a million of the 8.12 black eagles and it looks different nowdays to my older ones.

They were 8.12 x 32 with 14.25 wb, so is that the standard 8.25 x 32 with 14.38 or something else?

Not a worry if you are not into measuring all dimensions, but just curious.
[close]
I think somehow it's missing the brown layer from the graphic. I'm sure it's a heat transfer but I think something messed up when they were printing them out and used em anyway. Looks kinda sick actually.

Yes, exactly that.  I went and had a look at others and that is it.

They are all heat transfers nowdays, so even though it is still different coloured screens on to the transfer, they skipped / missed / were out of brown and it comes up with a much cleaner graphic, which is why it looked so different, especially round the text banner and the feathers.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

So clean!!!

Aside from essentially the exact same setup am on at the moment (only difference is i ride 52 F4s) i think it's beautiful, that the bushings seem to be the same color as the wood ply underneath the graphic!
Please post after sliding that beauty a lil more!

Skated this same board back in January with some Ace 44s. I wear a size 11 and was worried it would be too small, but I was surprised by how full and comfortable it felt.

I really want one of these decks! How is the concave? ✌️
[close]

If its the same mold as the other UMA decks I've seen then its pretty mellow for a BBS. I'd call it more of a medium for other woodshops, but I think Evan might have used the same mold Element uses which is pretty flat compared to other bbs/gen offerings.

Cool! My local had one. Picking it up today.

Lovely setup tom. Those shoes look really nice on foot as well. Are they the 3st004?
Happy belated @CrimsonGhost -how do those snots skate? I read on Instagram some folks were reminiscing about the quality of the old Cockroach wheels and that they were such high quality urethane that Fos was trying to get the same person to do the urethane for Heroin wheels and I'm wondering if he was successful?

don’t pull at my heartstrings like that... cockroach where the shit!

Without knowing anything about the situation, I can almost guarantee FOS wasn’t successful. Tim, the old owner of Cockroach, is late 60s/early 70s now. He still has all his old tooling etc but is uninterested in parting with it, sharing it or passing his knowledge on. I know people that have offered him decent amounts of money and he declined and is over the skate world. But he was chuffed people still talk about his urethane.

They were ok but I need a higher arch support so I purchased new insoles this week and they worked much better . An upgrade for vans for sure though

Thanks for the rumor/specualtions @Toadfish Rebecchi  - maybe he'll have a change of heart one day? I never rode those wheels but even just the printing on those cockroach wheels was something special.

First time riding the 8.38 FA/Hockey shape. Haven’t sessioned it yet but it feels good to stand on. Coming from dlx 8.5 and it feels very similar size wise.

FA 8.38 x 31.75 14.18 wb
V-hollow 5.6 w/ ace low bushings and flat top washers
F4 55 (53 now) lock-ins that I’ve been holding onto for years
Reds?
Allen bolts
Jessup

Blazers are my go-to but just started skating adidas forum 84 adv and really enjoying them. SB dunks sometimes

I haven’t tried 5.6s, but digging the 5.8s: any big advantages differences? I really did not get along with 5.2 hi’s. Sorry Willie/yapple

I luv this set up. It's almost perfect. I prefer my hollow 5.6 but I'm saving those for when I hit axles on this last set of cast.

Ive only ridden 5.6 cast and hollow. Put the hollows on ice because they are so nice with a set of cast plates.
