Hows the shape and wheelbase on that? been wanting to try a Hopps for some time now but afraid of the 32 inch length. Usually can't skate anything longer than 31.75. But if the wheelbase is small enough it'll feel a little shorter. Also loving the Garcias. Shame how habitat footwear was actually kinda sick and didn't stick around.

Shape is great, not steep, but not too flat. I think their steeper boards are the 'lion concave' boards. The wheelbase is 14.25, doesn't feel long at all. I like the shape of the nose and tail, too.

The top looks like this:

So right about Habitat shoes. Castrucci said they sold well, but they got rid of it for some other reason. I wonder if they would've done even better if they called it something else.
Nice looks good. I like the long nose and tail on that thing.  Probably gonna pick up the Scumco Ty Beall pro model first however.

Re hopps: I thought the lion was mellower....

Correct.  Jahmal himself told me - The Lion Cave is based of what I was looking for personally in a concave which was something with a quick pop and on the mellow side.  The concave has a spoon kicked nose and tail that offers a good feel for board control.

Had one last summer and yes, it was way thicker than your average board. It was nice and snappy for a long time, highly recommended.

I had that feeling all of last year, so I pulled the trigger and did it. I posted it a few pages back or you can go to the quiver thread to check it out. It's feels weird and awesome at the same time. I need to break it in though...

I just ordered some Thunder Titaniums (for the 100th time) and 49mm F4's for that exact reason

I've heard the current Tensor "Tens" actually skate really well.  The magnesium will bend or crack over time if you're slapping curbs or skating stairs but they'll hold up just fine skating flatground.  I've considered them for a while as well.

Heritage can give you more detailed feedback.  I know he skated them recently

http://www.skatewarehouse.com/Mini_Logo_Small_Bomb_181_Natural_Deck/descpage-ML181SBNDK.html
and im not sure if they measure it weird or something but that board size is pretty interesting

The SkateOne measurements are the worst in the industry.  The wheelbase is correct at 15, but that board is 8.5 in the middle, 8.3 over the front trucks, 8.25 over the rear trucks and the actual length is 32.5.  Skateone measures with the concave like PS, but they do it on the BOTTOM of the board.  horrible

I'm not completely sure, I got them from a complete of ebay ( I need to stop getting on ebay while drunk ), It was an aesthetics board, I think from 2001. Just all black, with the silver A medallion. The thing snapped after like 3 tricks, extremely soggy, but at least it was only $25 shipped. I got new 8" trucks out of it and that's cool cause my indy 139's are fucked. They feel nice.
