Its the OJ's Ditch Witch 56mm 92a. But they def skate harder than a 92a, must be the shape. They still cruise over some rough pavement but slide well for nose and tail slides, which is what I wanted. I was rocking the Bones Filmer wheels on that set up for a while, but they were too soft and bouncy. I havnt skated the Speedlabs, know a ton of guys who love them though. The helmet feels great, even in the Florida heat at the moment, however the soft foam liner that touches your head has started to peel off. A little bummed on that. I sent a pic and description to ProTec on email and their FB, they havnt replied back. Ill keep wearing it though, better than the brain hematoma I suffered with in Feb.

Does anyone skate 8.0? I heard Cromer and Suciu do or used to. Im thinking about it.
[close]
I would go with a DLX 8.06. They normally have a bigger wheelbase than other brands 8.0 with fuller nose and tails.
The exact reason why I can't skate those dlx boards, under 32" boards with 14.38" wb, no thanks. I just got Polar 8.125" x 32" w/ 14.25" wb, those are so sweet measurements for me ;D

I have been riding that exact same Polar deck for the couple of years and will not go back to a shorter wheelbase, even though I'm short & still do tech tricks. The stability is great, the ride feels comfortable and even though I don't skate as much as when I was a teenager I don't think I have lost tricks.

I use to love that antihero 8.06" at that time when I registered here but lately been shifting into shorter wheelbases. My latest board was AH BA 8.18" w/ 14.38"wb just for old times sake and my fliptrick were lost so back to 14.25.

Polar - Nick Boserio - 9.25
ACE 55 (old style, too broke to get the new ones and these have a lot of life left)
Spitfire Mike Anderson (super old, were 54, guessing like 52 now)
Bones rails
Bronsen bearings
generic hardware
not sure grip, got the board off a friend.

Also skating but not pictured Emerica figgy canvas shoes that I got on clearance, first time skating cupsoles in years, feels strange.

^Nice one. I really like those Real spectrum ovals. Lately I've been more and more into Real in general even though they can be a bit boring graphics wise.

I've been pretty much exclusively on these spectrum decks since the first release. I'm a sucker for the colors! Thinking about going back to Crailtap on the next one seeing as they're on new wood it seems like.

The spectrum decks are beautiful. They don't even need a graphic to be awesome imo. I've got two of them One I can't skate because it was and 8.38 full and just to damn long with too long of a wheelbase. So I think I'm just going to hang it up eventually even though it's been skated a tiny bit.

What size is that one. an 8.25 full right?

They also have this weird veneer they're doing on this one

Also I love the Modus sticker. Modus bolts are the only bolts I'll rock and I'm thinking i'm going to get their bearings next.

I hadn't ridden a DLX board since the mid 90s and picked up an Ishod full shape 8.06 last summer. Thought the wheelbase would fuck me up but it worked out. I think something around 14.25" typically works for me. PS stix ideally
