Been sitting on this Theories Newman deck for a while, finally set it up

Theories Newman 8.75"
Ace 55s
Spitfire classics 51mm
[close]
Beautiful setup. What's theoris woodshop?
[close]
Gonna guess Generator since that's what Polar/Isle/Magenta all are
Yeah they're definitely generator. I'm skating the 9.0 special delivery shape version of this as my cruiser. Love this graphic a lot. My regular set up is an 8.25 theories deck too, good shapes.  I've been skating the cruiser a little more lately and it's been making my regular set up feel super narrow.

Indy 169's
Spitfire FF 58mm 99 d

Bones hard bushings

I back this, let's start posting 1:1 scale setups.
You could even step on your screen to get a feel of the shape.

edit : felt weird to ride someone else trucks (U shape grind mark on one side of each hanger haha)

Still regret not buying the Evisen water deck when I saw it at my local.

This is an awesome set up.

Evisen boards look so cool. I really want to skate one but I am sorta apprehensive about skating a board that's dwindle/dsm. I am not sure why, though. It might be purely from stigmas from friends and slap. I can't remember if I've even ever skated a board that's dwindle wood before. How do you like it so far?

There's nothing wrong with Dwindle wood but I thought Evisen was still using South Central? https://theboardr.com/brands/1068/Evisen

Picked this one up from Humidity in Nola and it is DSM. I have no complaints on DSM boards! If you like the brand/graphic I say go for it. This board is light, the shape is nice, and it feels strong/snappy.

I felt the same way.  I was really surprised with how stiff and poppy it was.  It kept its pop longer than a lot of ps stix and bbs I’ve skated as well.

Indeed, it must be their resin 7 glue, very crispy, nice but almost too rigid for my preference.

the pricepoints are awful though. only resin7 or impact boards are worth getting, and from my experience they've been great

I think that's where the stigma on DSM wood comes from. People tend to associate them with those terrible dwindle pricepoint completes but there's a vast disparity between those and DSM's standard decks.
