Isle 8.5
Indy 149ti (w/cast 6-hole baseplates, aftermarket conical indy bushings, riptide pivot cups)
SF F4 54mm Radial 99a
Swiss
Jessup
[close]

Nice setup mate 👍
How you like these wheels? Mine are at 50 mm now, no flatspots and still nice. But I'm thinking about getting the 101a, cuz I think harder wheels mean a better slideability. Not sure though

thanks dood.  the Radial shape is my favorite of all the shapes.  here's why:  i find a classic shaped wheel to be the most aesthetically pleasing, but I love the extra riding surface of a conical shaped wheel.  the radial is a compromise of the two.  wider than a classic, but doesnt have the jarring side-wall look of a conical.

99a vs. 101a... the 101a's are too hard/slick for me.  on rough ground they chatter too much and seem too slippery on dusty indoor ramps (i live in the midwest).

Set up some black friday stuff. thought it looked cute, might delete later.
8.38 ishod twin tail, as seen on SLAP
5.75 tensor mag new geo w/ indy conicals
52 F4s 99a
Reds
Jessup w/ cute af cut-out, if i do say so myself
Indy hardware w/ ugly cross logo top design—need new ones

Cheers!
I'm skating that deck (8.5), those trucks, and wheels right now.

Trucks arent bad at all, but I wish the deck was a twin nose.

Been excited to try out the dlx slick bottom decks.
It's really fast and the pop doesn't feel weird like the old ones from the early 90s did.

Wow that is one cool ass deck. That is one of those decks that would catch my eye as a child in the shop and still does as an adult. Objectively cool.

I skated two Krooked slicks, and loved them.
DLX truly makes a great slick.  Definitely not like slicks from the 90’s.

Sick set up , I love that board, might have to try one out after I burn through a couple.
I really like the grip, I bought a couple sheets of the Krooked MOB and plan on doing something close to the same thing.

Yeah I've been only running plain black grip but love the gonz flowers so figured I would do a little bit.
So far the slick is super fun, slides really well.

Yeah to me its way more fun sliding 10 feet vs 2.
Tore one of my rails out last week, only thing is combos are more challenging without rails.
Haven't figured out boardslide to switch feeble without them.

I feel like I’d be slipping out and busting my ass the first few sessions were I to skate a slick deck.

After a full day of skating I will say that it makes my tailsiides and noseslides linger for sure, no matter how crappily I get into them. Seems like it helps wheelbite too.

Nice dude love doa decks.  Bought one on sale a couple months ago and there was an inventory error so he sent me 2 decks instead of just the one to say sorry.  Solid dudes it seems and I liked the decks.  I also see those purple lobsters on feet.  I was lucky enough to win the raffle at my local shop and have a pair now.

Treated myself to a Christmas complete for the first time in years! I got super high and fucked up the grip job, but I'm super stoked on the board and its shape. IT's hard to tell but it's one of the rare shaped boards that WKND does.

Thanks! I've been doing this kind of grip for awhile and it was actually inspired by a user that would post the sickest setups and grip jobs in this thread. I can't remember their username right now though :(

He gets grip into the thinnest strips and pieces it all together so well. I saw one on Instagram the other day and he worked in a theories diecut grip logo too
