Should be cleared to skate in 17 short weeks.  Seemed like a good time to set up a new board  ;D

nice set up, how do those things handle against pebbles? I’d be worried to skate around on those wheels.

I haven't had a chance to really skate them yet since I'm recovering from ACL surgery but pushing around in my backyard they handle cracks just fine.  Dudes skated 38mm at EMB back in the day so I don't think it will be an issue.  The worst pebble related fall I ever had was on 56s so they'll get you no matter what

Never mind!  Googled and ordered!

Nice!  yep, he makes 44 and 42.  The 44's are awesome because they have a standard wheel riding surface (17mm)

Aftermarket pivots make a difference?

Basically if you think they're working, they're working.  Your trucks definitely will not squeak any more and I FEEL like the turn is smoother and the trucks snap back quicker.  But maybe thinking that just helps me sleep at night knowing I spent $15 on .007 cents of urethane.  Either way, they go in all my trucks

in the nine club with mike Carroll he mentions that in an ad he rode 38mm wheels because 40’s were to big. Crazy.

first time in 31+ years skating that i've done the single-rail thing.  It was fun for the first curb session, but i don't think i'll do it on future setups unless it's a cruiser or something

That Egg looks rad.

This setup looks very cool. Surprised not seeing more (any) wheel from above. How does it skate with the wife trucks? What’s the wb on that board? How’s the 5boro wood? Is it south central? I have more questions

Would have thought 169's would stick out of 8.5s. Looks flush tho.

Probably they stick out but is not noticeable on the pic.
I tried 8.5 with Ace 55 (9" axle) and in photo looked good  but believe me it looked and felt terrible when I was skating it.

I haven't skated it yet, except to roll around my driveway to suss out truck loosened (sizing down from 9"). Taking some locktite and cheese grater to the park with me today, to fine tune if need be. Just wanted one size truck to use from 9+ down to 8.5. WB is 14.5. SC wood. Good concave, definitley not flat. Like the other guy said, the picture conceals more of the axel sticking out, but I was pleasantly surprised it was not as severe as I thought it may have been. I actually like seeing a bit of my truck/wheel.

This is amazing C4U. Really nice. The Terp boards are Generator? I wanted to get the 8.38 but didn't know if it was PS or Gen. Even better.

I like it. When your riding it it looks like you have a regular popsicle board but then you have the big square tail and it’s benefits. To me mostly it’s tailslides, the feeling of being able to rest your whole foot on the tail can’t be beat. The shape lets you flip your board comfortably too.
