Really not done with my Scumco, but I couldn't help but set this deck up on my aces. Lil more taper in the tail than what I've been on, but steeper concave feels nice.

Me and my girlfriend painted our bodies and boards

From right to left:

Her new setup. 8.5 chocolate twin tail, 14"wb.
8.5 polster titanium trucks
bones stf v5 52 99a
Mini logo bearings
I kind of painted it with my dick

My new transition setup
9" shop deck, 14.75wb
Ace classics 55
57mm f4 oski radials
Creature glow in the dark rails
mini logo bearings
She sat on it

The rest is boring, real twin tails with thunder titaniums or royals and my cruiser

X post from the egg thread. Very into this after it's maiden voyage.

Toy Machine 8.875" (My last Toy Machine board was probably Kerry Getz pro debut)
Independent 169
Spitfire F4 classics worn from 50 down to about 47mm

I usually like a magic carpet but decided to try something different this time with the 169s. Could just be a fluke but I actually really like it.

I got one second hand and didn’t get much time on it before sending it to a watery grave one night. Dope graphic

That is a super sick way to preserve a graphic from an old board. I realize it is insanely short, but it would be cool to drill another set of holes and run that as some weird cruiser.

Best DIY graphics of 2022 for sure!

That is pretty funny, especially with the different colours, so if you didn't know I don't think you would guess what was on the board.

A dick deck and bum board!

Well that makes sense, as tm has been pretty committed to just throwing whatever boring ass fake templeton graphic on whatever random woodshop deck was available. Cynical.
I’ve had tm boards that were amazing. My best ever session was on a Leo board. Anyways.
It’s a weird company, because their is still some talent…

I like em a lot.  Second pair, first pair of highs.  They feel like a more luxury version of vans.  The highs feel almost like wearing a skatable boot.  I don’t usually go for overly basic shoes, but these are just good all around.  Way better looking/feeling in person compared to what I assumed they’d be from photos.  Go half a size down if you get some

I was going to ask, but then thought I should go looking first.

At least in USA it seems like they are doing well with quality boards now.

The Killing Floor 8.38
Indy Forged Hollow 144
Spitfire Classic Full 52mm
Swiss Ceramics w/ shields popped that I found in a closet

For some reason the Sci Fi I setup felt horrible. Was much steeper than my last few boards and in 5 sessions I felt horrible. Hopefully this one goes better.

Toy machine 8.5
Jessup grip
Venture bobby worrest truck
52mm spitfire that are 48mm by this point

It's generator, so should be good, but It seems pointy to me. But my last board was BLVD that was very blunt. I got a bigfoot. Hope it skates well.

Purple woodgrain is so pretty. Always wondered, does the hardware sticking up like that bother you at all? I always crank mine down super tight, but sometimes get pressure cracks with cheaper wood.

How are those Masame pivot cups?

They are good. In ace, they fit identically to the original. In indy, I noticed they seem to push the wheelbase in slightly. They come in 4 hardness levels, but i was recommended to use the hardest version even for loose trucks and what i have noticed by using a harder than stock pivot cup is that it tends to make the truck feel more stable especially in a soft bushing setup. it also drastically reduces the squeaking of the truck.

Here is a pic i found showing the back of the package with the hardness options:

8.25 LosersATL
149 lurpiv
53mm spit radial slim
Bones Swiss

Mfg switched to a new stock shape. Rounded nose with a super mellow concave. Reminds me of a primitive O’Neil deck I had a few years ago. Hated how the shape looked but loved how it preformed.

Day one on the lurpivs. The have a great turn and grind.
