Switching between riser/no riser set-up to see the pros and cons. So far, I like how Thunders feel with the extra height on a flatter board. Short legs are spared with the 31.875 length. Trying out a Limo 8.25 on the side and hating every single minute of it with or without risers, too steep.

just a heads up, 8.75 will likely hotrod. i measured about 8.5 over front axel, 8.25 over back with classic aces. widest spot is a little behind front bolts, so that foot feels locked in while cruising. overall shape just feels "right" to me. as @RyceHarper said it feels smaller than you'd think for a 9

It’s been unusually rainy here and the one covered spot that’s close to me is pretty crusty. Figured it was a good time to finally set up the last set of Dragon samples I have. Out of all their durometers I’ve tried these are the best. They don’t powerslide for shit, but noseslides, tailslides, and crooked grinds weren’t that much different from a harder wheel. They’re pretty unforgiving if you don’t get in a slide perfectly though

Been skating Polar 8.6 popsicles, excited to give the Limo 8.6 a try. Less full nose, more tapered. Tail looks similar, maybe a tad longer on the Limo. Appreciate how accurate the dims are on Limo's site — listed as 14.45 wheelbase and it measures almost exactly 14 7/16ths (14.4375 or as close to 14.45 as I can measure on a standard tape measure).

Also this might not matter to most ppl, but I'm always curious as to people's height and shoe size compared to their setup — so I'm 6'0 and size 11.5 Blazers / 11 Last Resorts.

i like them. i got them because i wanted something harder than stock and its what my local had. idk if theyre exactly the same size but they dont feel noticeably different and the flat washer lets me carve even with 98s
