Like the cut on those Big Waves. What’s the size/duro? How do they compare to F4 99a conical wides?

Any in stock at your store?
I cant say how they compare to the conical wides , but they are closer to the spitfire classic formula, but a bit better IMO. Yes I have a set in stock.

Looks like 54mm V-cuts are the same size/surface as a Conical Full

If my calculations are correct the Big Waves are 1mm wider than 54mm Conical fulls.
Conical full - 34mm
Big wave -35mm

Fair enough. I just got my info on the SMLs from a web search and in hand beats that every time

Beutiful setup and grip job. Hope this deck make things a little better. Glad to hear you have someone.

Thanks for your support lads appreciate it!, I’m getting there day by day with the help of a psychiatrist n all that fun stuff.

Boards good! Just getting used to having such a big nose compared to the mellow bakers I’ve been on. Throwing me off a little. Bearings are a dream.

I think your right just checked both are 7.0” it’s more how much steeper the nose is compared the the mellow 8.25 I was on. Noseslides and crooks weren’t as consistent but got used to it quick enough in one sesh with small adjustments.

Thanks man! I’ll get there. Self checking in at hospital was the best thing I’ve done tbh as I was at the point of something I won’t mention. I’ll get there! Lucky to have an amazing partner and family to help.

- Choco G052

- AS-1 pro

I moved on from polar after they reshaped their 8.5 and 8.375. Smaller nose and tails. Prefer the 14.375 to the 14.5 WB though.

How are you liking the AS-1? On my last pair of fastbreaks before trying the as-1s.

I couldn't agree more with you regarding Polar.
Regarding AS-1 so far I'm liking them a lot. Changed the insoles for those eS energy thing which I don't think they're a game changer but I got them @ 70% and sure they feel like an update from the stock insoles.
I would totally have another pair in the future but I already have 3 shoes in the waiting line.

not sure when they changed but it’s been hella inconsistent. had two 8.5s this year. one with 14.38 and other with 14.5 (p2 shape). polar should just stick with the 14.38 at this point

Ya they've always said that but measured differently, the 8.5 was 14.38 as far back as 2018. The P2 isn't the same shape so that makes sense. I could imagine that tail being hefty with Ventures

When I get polars I usually do the 8.625. 14.38 wb and nice and wide, an all time favorite shape. Frog used to do the same shape but they now use a longer wheelbase on their 8.6.
