How padded are the #480s in the tongue and collar? Also, was it easy to get them (i.e. were they super limited stock at the shop)?

Set up looks good and ready to skate!!

Also, cosign the Zappa placement on Stanley P's whip! Love some Zappa!

Quick verdict on the 480s: Tongue and collar not as padded as I would've liked. Tongue definitely way less puffy than on the SB Dunk. Better board feel than 808s. Better impact protection than 440s. Heel locked in better than on 1010s. Comfy enough to be a decent chiller, too. Very solid skate shoe, but I'm still partial to the 808s.

At that point where it was time to replace almost everything, which hasn't happened to me in forever.

Heroin Eric Dressen Guest Board 9.75" x 32.5" with 14.25" wheelbase
Independent Stage 11 159 hollow hanger with standard baseplate
Spitfire Classics 52mm 99a
Bones Swiss Six
MOB
1" hardware

Trucks are definitely too small (width across bolt holes measure about 9") but it was all I had at the moment, so I'm going to run with it today and most likely going to swap them out for Thunder Hollow Lights 161s when I get home. But hey, maybe it'll work out.

I can only lose after that cutie.

Quasi Justin Henry 8.375 Twin, sticker says l 31.75, WB 14.25 - which seems fair. It feels shorter than the Ishod next to it which is probably due to the shorter wheelbase.

Went to set up this ps stix Pizza deck from the drop and noticed a crack in the bottom veneer. Camera is shit, but it's a skinny split like 3" long between the nose and top truck hole. Is it going to snap on me quicker, or should it just become a wall hanger, even though its not a great graphic?

Cat is very cute.  Did you have to sand down the Indy bushings?  I bought some for my 147 for but they’re pretty tall.

No sanding. The bottoms are the same, only the tops were like a mm bigger. I put the kingpin nut flush and it was a bit of a harder ride for a while but then they compressed and now they are perfect. I find them better than the thunder stock which tend to crack quite fast on me.

Thank homie, I didn't think it would be all that bad, but I've also never seen a crack like in a new deck. It was less than $20 if I remember right so fuck it.

Ferguson Reissue 7.5 with free grip, whatever so cal uses. Its good grip.
Venture 5.2 forged with the supercush bushings
51mm now at 50mm probably f4 classics
Swiss 6.

Good board, but so much flex. I noticed when i would skate outside and ut was 110+ degrees it would flex much more but once it cools down a bit it had less flex. Too bad i broke it today. On the brightside i have two more. Lasted me a week but I'm also fat and have big feet. So i stomp my shit.

Still skating shelltoes.

i had this happen with a board a while ago, it didn’t have those cracks brand new but after i skated it once a whole bunch of them appeared all over the board. it looked weird but felt the same and the board lasted a decent while.
