Oooh I’m very interested in trying one of the jacuzzi boards in that shape. Please give an update. I’ve got a Huffer going right now and it might be a little too much and these seem a hair smaller.

I'll try it tomorrow if weather is kind to me, I'll let you know.
Skated it today and I really enjoyed it. 100% recommended

Limosine 8.375
Royal 144
F4 conical 54mm
Swiss

Feels a little naughty mixing limosine and Royal, but I think these are gonna hit a sweet spot truckwise, and the limo board is so cool…all green middle plies, glittery paint on the reflection half, and wood grain popping through on the darker tones on the other half.

I feel the limo graphics lend well to raw trucks and the new Royals are good fuckin’ trucks that look tough.

Let’s see some other angles then! I would love to see that wood grain from the side :)

I am curious if the stains are right through the ply layers, done before pressing, or if the colour has been applied once the board has been pressed.

This should show with wear, more so than right now when new, but yeah that is a rad setup for sure!!!

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Can anyone help me out?

So I used to have a Hockey deck and I loved the shape so much, the mellow tail and long square nose.

But I don’t really like FA or Hockey as companies, does anyone know what other companies make decks that are a similar shape ? I usually skate between 8.25 and 8.5

Thanks in advance :)

That shape was common in PS Stix but is also found on some BBS shapes. Not sure if you had a PS or BBS deck or if you care about woodshop.  If you don't, here are some nearly identical decks from some brands:

Alien Workshop
Habitat
WKND
Snack
StrangeLove (maybe, not 100% sure)

If you look for 8.25 or 8.5 from these brands, look for the "fuller" looking shapes and they should have that mellower tail with a big full nose. I do not know if they have nicknames to call out the fuller nose like FA/Hockey did via Shape #1 or #2.

WKND has a couple different molds, so you should be able to find their mold guide on their site/Instagram somewhere.

Image for reference via WKND Shapes thread:
Depends on which 8.125 you got, they have a few shapes for each dimension, and they measure flat across instead of tip to tip. The 8.125 x 31.625 x 14.125 is probably 31.125 tip to tip, so you'd get a really short tail which I personally hate.

Sorry to hit the rewind button amidst all of these lovely set ups, but I've got to take it back to this Smells set up from a lickle bit ago, on account of I've been away from this thread for a shamefully long, hot minute.
@smellsdead, this process has yielded visually gorgeous results & I'm looking forward to seeing other decks you enhance with it.
Props, Sir.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?
