Got the itch to revisit Ventures and a small(ish) board. Still riding the Swim and stoked on it, but the snowboard shape isn’t super conducive to the days I just want to skate flat or a little ledge.

8.5 WKND Sarah Meurle
5.8 Ventures
54mm F4s
Some sort of Reds variant

Had no idea Sarah Meurle was on WKND until that board.  Sweeet!

Color of the deck, wheels, & wheel wells against the bushings color is rad. Vibrant all around @Enrico Pallazzo

Isle - Kyron Davis pro deck (8.5). Love the A Clockwork Orange theme, so sick! Didn't see this particular stain online, I'm not normally into dark blue but I think it looks pretty cool. Not stoked that I can't skate it until probably next weekend now because the weather has been shite whenever I've had free time - fuck you England.

Indy 149's & Spitfire 54mm 99a conical fulls as well, but they're nothing new.

Appreciate it! If you haven’t seen Rumble Pack yet, highly recommend - believe it was her welcome to WKND/pro part.

It's on my to watch list actually! I.... sadly have a long list of edits and videos to catch up on that I've been slacking on. So much comes out nowadays, it's hard to keep up at times

Do you use the same size truck on all 3? Would be convenient.

I haven’t skated Indy’s in several years but I would use 149s on each of those sized boards. They’d fit right on all of them.

Absolutely nothing to be honest! I mean, some people who are super picky with board dimensions would probably be able to tell a difference, but these are just sizes that fit my trucks. I literally skate a different shape/board every time and just get used to it after 1 session. I won't let the madness get me!

It makes sense. I ride 8.25 or 8.38. Would be cool to commit to one truck and be done.

I will usually ride boards in those options, all on 149s too.

The 8.38 or 8.375 are usually about the same, if not just the number being ever so slightly different, but the 8.5 is more often a bit bigger overall in dimensions, sometimes longer, both wheelbase and length, but not always.  It really depends on the brand for the shapes, as some do have shorter boards, some bigger more full shapes, others longer, etc.

Most commonly, going by usual shapes from some suppliers:

8.38 x 32 to 32.2 with 14.25 to 14.38 wb, sometimes 14.5 wb like DLX boards.

8.5 x 32.4 to 32.6 with 14.5 wb, sometimes 31.8 length with 14.25 wb though.

Isle being BBS / Generator still, or was that something else now, like Clutch wood?

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I'm not sure, but I'd like to know. The woodshop thread says that Isle is BBS for the US but HLC for EU - I want to know how accurate this is
