Limo 8.6" x 32.35" with 14.45" Wheelbase
indy 149
spitfire f4 classics 54mm
bones big balls
pepper xg (i think)

first limo board, the shape took some getting used to, i usually like a more shovel nose but once i got used to it i fell in love. sized up from a baker b2 8.38 (broke my first board in like 15 years on a wallride)
loving the longer wheelbase and width, it magic carpets a little bit but i dont really mind.

Has anyone skated a Limo 8.25 or 8.3? Checking out their shapes after the last post and noticed all the widths are shorter than normal. Could be fun, but I don't want anything too pointy as the 8.5 above is described.

Sounds tempting. I like flatter boards. Never tried a Baker.

6 weeks, damn, and i been hurt. never really stoked on it and haven't landed anything significant on it. may get heelflip soon. still got life in it, but in my mind im done with it. unemployed so im not buying a new board unless it breaks. does has some sentimental value, think im a add it to my skated wall hangers when the time comes. think im a buy my next board from fairfax
good sig coming soon

A friend is really into them and says there are two shapes, the stubby blunt shape and the pointy longer shape.  I have one of the older pointy longer shapes, used / broken deck just to keep for comparisons, but it was just under 32, 14.4 wb and although some specs say 8.5 it is 8.3 or so and is listed as such on their own site - the black graphic with small red heart in the middle.

I would say check in person before buying online, more than anything.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

The Limo 8.38 is the same as the DLX 8.5 mold, but Limo just gives more accurate width specs. So, if you have ever ridden the navy blue eagle from AH or any other DLX 8.5 x 14.25, the Limo 8.38 will feel the same.

i have lurpiv 150s that i'll use for my 'fun' setup pretty much regardless of shape, they work well for this board i think

Really like the shape, this actually my fifth Rory Milanes deck. Nose is little square, not much. Tail is tapered. Wb 14.13 or something. This is pretty old deck, I bought several from discount like a year ago.

Dwindle 8.38 shop deck. I was expecting it to snap, it was feeling really flexy and dead, but it wouldn't die.

This one is good, very snappy and no "dead" feeling. It was pressed by PS Stix in Mexico. What's interesting is that it's actually a modernized Schmitt Stix street shape from the 80s that Andy Howell used to rock and not a straight up miniature of Scott's pro model.

I know Dogtown now uses BBS exclusively. I just got a dogtown popsicle and it's BBS. Not sure if they use or used PS for the reissues only or for all decks.

i like them a lot, i love the round toebox. i run a second insole on top of stock to make up for the lack of midsole and the fact that the shoe is kinda tall inside. i have the accel 95s in size 9 and they’re tight-ish at first then snug, these leave a little room side to side and lengthwise even with the double insole. i put about 40 hours into these and the soles easily could do another 40. superglued all the stitching before i started skating them and they just keep going.

My “fun” setup
Madness 8.625x32
Felt sooo comfy right away on Indy 149 hollows and rictas speed ring wides and pepper grip
I like it for when I feel off on my regular set up, like a reset and also to cruise some transition. I love the way Dsm resin 7 wood feels I too the last set of em I had were too steep for me tho
Probably going to add clear grip on that top graphic, it was psyching me out during nollie tricks

That was more than likely the only way they could get that shape. Scram is also BBS but the reissue or Nolan’s first board was on PS wood since they had the shape originally.

I skated the same deck for a couple months in August and September then went through a bit of a board crisis.  Decided to go back to the same shape.  I love this 8.0” shape Jeremy Klein uses.  It’s very mellow concave and the kicks are pointy.

Hookups 8.0”
Ace Hollow Low 8.25
Spitfire 54mm F4 Radial Fulls (might switch these out for some 53mm regular radials)
Swiss

Saw someone at my local with this company’s board. He said his was $15 too at the fp warehouse/skatepark/shop here in Long Beach. It felt surprisingly steep when I stood on it
