It was next on deck before getting broke off so my confidence coming back to something so eye-catching wasnt there but said fuck it. Granted bending down all the way isn't there yet but it's my first Jacuz and it's not disappointing.

Swore that poem was from something. Couldn't find anything. Oddly enough there's like 5 people in my family that work at Hallmark.

Ha yeah, but I think the old heads who own / run "The Workshop" these days could be more stoked on the effort of someone doing this, as personal riders, not to sell, but I could be wrong there too.

Maybe cause I am old and I know these Allen graphics are around the peak of success of the brand, compared to what it has become now.

Pretty stoked on seeing them myself any which way - they look so good!

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Sanding papers, of course!
When I saw there was a gorgeous brown ply under the butterflies, I wanted to show it off, & was determined to remove the art entirely.
The foil in the graphic runs the full length of the board, rather than just under the places it’s visible through the top layer of ink, so it’s essentially a 2nd layer under there & made sanding a bit of a bitch.
I was getting sweaty & running out of patience by the time I had gotten to the halfway point, so… reasoning I had effectively sanded one whole deck by completing TWO layers of HALF a deck, I called it quits and threw some clear lacquer on there.
Essentially, I was too lazy to finish & liked the way it looked only half done.
Plus, I still got my brown ply.
Some of it anyway.

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me… You think you got me?

I was wondering if or when I might see a set of those Radial Full wheels in a mix and match combo, given they came out in all sizes and colours in the most recent drop for us / last drop for you guys there in USA. Still yet to get around to it with the ones I have, but this gives me more of a reason now.

Amazing graphic reduction too!!

* Those foil graphics come off really easy with a nice new razor blade, at least the main graphic comes off as usual but because it has a foil backing it comes off more easily just scraping it without the bottom lacquer layer coming off with it too.  I could imagine sanding that would be a pain, as you said, second layer throughout.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Must be feeling manic, setting up all these rides.
I can only stand on one at a time, after all.
Either that, or some of the older sleds were ready to retire.
Regardless, here’s one I set up in homage to one of the best to do it, some say THE best.

Oh that’s sick. I never thought of replacing trucks on those plastic completes. I bet it is an incredible improvement that makes those a lot more fun. My kids’ first skateboards were those cheap plastic completes that they were riding since walking or maybe before but not touched in years.

Its actually a diamond supply version of a plastic board. So it came with aces. I paid $20 nz for it . So super cheap and its top quality.

After Hours 9.125 egg (NZ brand)
Indy 159 hollow
53mm bones x formula 97a
Pig rails
Spit cheap shots shields off
Jessup.

Made some stickers at work of some of my favorite bands .
Boards great as I've had one before . Steep concave though.

Thanks, I posted this recently.  Its a brand from Andrew Morrison (new deal fame) in NZ. Boards are so expensive here that he provides a cheaper alternative and he sponsors a few up an comers. Boards concave are a bit on the steep side but perfectly fine once you get used to it.
As for the gonz cliche deck. That was a market place find. Haven't skated it yet. Just changed out the trucks and wheels.
My goal is to collect a set up from every shape change in skateboarding.  Not sure ill pull it off.
