i got bored at work and took 1 stage 9 apart and 1 stage 10 and compared.  all they did was fill in the holes in the baseplate.

did they at least change the bushings? Stage 9 bushings are shit

Did they tweak the kingpin clearance on the Stage 10s, or did they just fill in the baseplate? I've yet to see them.
To me, the kingpin looks lower, maybe I'm wrng but I swear you have more clearance.

THe Habitat I have is a PS Stix one. They use(or did) Acme for some of their stuff. Heard their pricepoint is Chinese wood.

Got an 7.75 Olly Todd with the bamboo ply up next.

Habitat/AWS pricepoints are or used to be ABC wood who does Acme.  at least that's what i've been told by the former shop owner.

The last batch of habitat boards we got were these and none of them were ps stix. all say made in mexico and resemble generator wood but Im pretty sure they aren't.

And the arto boards we got are not ps stix either, and theyre rather flat.
Maybe they still use them for some boards, hard to say, but check the top for the ps stix stamp.

i had that deck. It was a very windy day and i left my board outside my friend's house, in front of his basketball net. the wind blew the whole net down, square on my deck. It was a great deck too.

Anyway,

resse forbes skate mental
indys
habitat wheels
random bearings and very shitty hardwear
halfcab pros (the new purple ones)

Looks like I might be skating the Garcia I have a little bit longer then. One of Alien/Habitats biggest draws for me was the PS Stix, love the concaves/shapes.

Do you know if this deck is still available to order from them? It's still on the web site, so maybe?
