Anti hero garms
« on: December 25, 2019, 03:16:25 PM »
OK what is this fucking trend. First I see little fucking what's his name... Seriously what is it.. Little kid. Its not coming. OK.. Let me think. Kader! There we go. So he's riding anti hero boards..

Then foy wearing an anti hero hoodie loads now I see Pedro delfino wearing anti hero shit.

What is this about? Is it not just plain disrespectful to your board sponsor who cut your fucking cheques? Super weird I think.

If you were erik ellington wouldn't you just be like 'err I'd rather you didn't do that please'.

Anyway, merry Xmas

The brand is great because it’s full of rippers and has never put out a bad video.
Check out the tour videos like tent city or even the beauty and beast videos. At one point it represented a lifestyle, and maybe it’s not so much in recent years but the boards are great and the teams great.

I mean grant Taylor for Christ sake.

Girl should’ve stopped cutting MC checks for wearing this stereo shirt

You’re taking skateboarding way too serious. Most companies are interconnected through wheel/truck sponsors, energy drinks, thrasher or whatever else.

Nothing wrong with appreciating other people’s skating

Jamie and Kader are valuable enough to their board companies to where they can do pretty much whatever they want. Any board company would be lucky to have Jamie and Reynolds treats Kader like his firstborn.
Pedro is probably on thinner ice. With how often that guy hits his head I can't see his career lasting long, which is likely why deathwish gave him a board so that they could get some sales before he turns into a vegetable

This. I actually drastically prefer the idea of people in an industry being friends, and supporting one another’s stuff. Or just admiring others, it’s fun to be a fan.
Everyone had a menace shirt, or girl/Choco stuff. Anti-hero is the brand of this era.

That Carroll photo is too dope. The vans, ventures, flexfit? Sheesh.

Everyone has always worn antihero its not a new trend, pay more attention. 90 percent of pros ride AH boards between sponsors, AO and mason for example. Also Pedro always wore and skated anti gear, was really surprised to see him turn up in the baker camp. When i met him 7 years ago at KONA he did an eggplant on the tombstone in the dark. He's been pro in my book

Sean Pablo wore an anti-hero beanie in Purple and I’ve been grinding down my teeth in a seething rage about it for months.

The question you should be asking is Why is everyone wearing 1 8 gear, when Grimple Stix is obviously the better brand, and everyone should be riding Nighthamers in-between sponsors.

R u kidding me? Skateboarding thrives on inter connectivity between brands and such. Stop being a hater.

That’s a very hot take
