It was on a Wednesday December 24th 1986 that my beautiful son Tyler was born.
Despite a short 28 year life, and having to deal with many of life's challenges, Ty rose to the occasion and made absolutely sure that he would not be denied a quality life in pursuit of his creative passions..he taught himself how to draw, paint, make jewelry, build musical instruments, play a variety of musical instruments, write songs, write poems and stories, build skateboards and so much more..
He loved to skateboard and spent countless hours working on tricks and searching the countryside for cool places to skate…
But to me, what defined Tyler was his sweet kindness and generosity to everyone…he had an infectious smile that could melt solid ice..
It is my tradition to put a brief slide show together on these occasions, to share the visual with music that we loved…
I subscribe to the notion that as long as we continue to love our beloved who have passed and share that love and memories with the world, they remain with us all in the here and now.. and indeed these memories are a blessing.
So, please join me and fill your empty cup with love and raise that cup high to celebrate Tyler on this his thirty third birthday.
Always in our hearts - forever and ever and ever…
Love,
Buddy
