"the bull"

"young bull"

"bull [...]"

I kid I kid. Maldonado ep was so sick, as was the Wallin ep. The Bunt continuing to produce some great content is definitely something I'm psyched on.

Hearing him talk about kicking himself off Baker made me think about how badly we need a Andrew Reynolds episode.
[close]
As much as I would like a Reynold's rapid fire, I feel like Andrew's deal is already pretty well covered in skate media over the years. Since the bunt has had quite a few of the baker guys on, I would think a kader or jacopo episode might be more interesting since I don't really know much about them outside of skating.
Yeah, you do have a point. In addition to Kader and Jacopo, I'd be stoked on a Rowan episode too.

100% .. loved how he told the tv crew to beat it as he just didn’t want to be on tv, not his style.

I'm guessing it's a reference to when Bam thought Tod Swank was embezzling money from the sales of the first CKY Landspeed video, which led to the exodus of the Pennsylvania guys from Tum Yeto.

I loved hearing a guy like Maldonado talk about being vegetarian and wanting to be a botanist. Dude is Interesting and has a great perspective on life.

I really, really want a Jordan Trahan interview.

I wish Mike Maldonado had stayed on Toy Machine...

Also, in Zack Wallin's episode he mentioned Louie Barletta calling out Richie Jackson at some point, what did Louie say exactly?

Louie would be a great guest.

Of the guests they haven't had. The ones I'd most like to see are Rick Howard, Sinclair, and Kalis.

Same. I was hoping for him to show up on the Nine Clube before I even heard of The Bunt. He's probably hard to get a hold of.

He's a very busy man. All that weed that flies into the backseat, he has to search for it all, every week. God forbid. Hopefully he may overcome this great affliction for a epic rapid fire

Latest season continues to receritify itself as a barnburner.

Kevin seems like a good dude. Liked hearing Maldonado talking about eating veggie.

Is the Ghost good tho? Am I tripping or anyone else think he seems a bit off?

I know he's been struggling with the concussions, so maybe it's related to that. Just seems a bit slower than normal.

Hyun is good - I refuse to refer to him as "Versace", his vibe and Instagram/YouTube skater's just generally aren't for me. I also think if he really didn't give a fuck about the Berrics he wouldn't have been there. Does anyone else instantly think "Versace Butt Plug" when you hear that Insta handle haha?

On note of the pod, this made me a bigger fan of Kevin White. Need to go re-watch some of his parts.

I think Plug meant he got the flight paid by the berrics and visiting USA/CA was the true win because he got to get at American spots/life. "Flatground Pro" IS an unequivocally butthurt sentiment.

Id love to get to know Bob LaSalle via this podcast.

For the guests who are "of a certain age" and are no longer in the skate forefront: i wish the bunt dudes would do a more thorough job of asking what those guys are doing now and what life after youth/skating looks like. It was hard to hear Maldonado say "Nahhhthing" when they asked him what he had going on---conveniently just after effectively saying companies had to pay him more in order to get more out of him.

i actually was thinking about this the other day and came to the conclusion that we just have a bigger catalog and they have better mics so its easier to tell when he comes in all amped and buzzing vs. when hes just a little more even.  he also may just have had life stress going on at the time when he was recording these, who knows.

one thing that that did make me raise an eyebrow was a moment  near the end of the emails where annoyance in DJones' voice at Cephas was weirdly sincere. like i get it they work together a lot and are super close friends so obliviously they may sometimes get a little friction, that's totally normal-- but it was kind of jarring to hear the 4th wall crack slightly.

Lot of them probably don't have much going on, and could be a bit of a touchy subject.  Feel like The bunt dudes knowingly avoid the subject unless the guest brings it up, which is probably a smart move.
