when john was rattling all the names of guys who left jamie for alien it made sense for him to be bitter.. it must hurt watching something you have put your life into just be a stepping stone.

These stories always make me feel bad for him for a brief moment, and then I remember all the stories of him treating people like shit and that sorta eclipses my sympathy.

I was really hoping they were going to ask him about his recent arrest when a house he was at got raider for making hash oil and he was in federal prison for a long time.

Glad that got all sorted out, but I was very curious what happened there.

Classic case of the common denominator.

jimmy's episode was awesome, love when the guests are well spoken

kind of a testament to how much i've grown to love cepha and dono
while i understand where jimmy lies in the skate world i wouldn't be going out of my way to listen to an interview from him
but the chemistry flowed really well and it made me like jimmy and revisit his skating

bummed this season is almost coming to a close

I would pay just to have a weekly Bunt episode year round.

Dono and Cephas, I know ya'll are lurking this thread. Let's make it happen, ya dig?!

I know there’s often a lot of negative feelings about the Nine Club on here but if you haven’t listened to it (and are interested) Jimmy’s original Nine Club interview was definitely one of the best ones.  He’s super genuine and insightful.  Worth a listen for Jimmy, his skate stories, and his life experiences.

on paper this sounds good but honestly i think the quality would inevitably dwindle. besides, it being released in seasons makes me appreciate it a bit more than other podcasts. I don't ever skip episodes

Agreed, part of the reason the 9club is so bad at this point is because Chris is so obviously burnt out from doing it every single week. cephas and dono aren’t impervious to boredom and breaks are important

I suspect there is a lot of work on the back end too.  The time off allows them to put the interviews in the can which is helpful versus scrambling to get anyone……

If anything it would be sick for them to drop randoms or post office extras.  I think they could do YouTube just watching vids and commentating……Maybe with a guest…..they do the behind the scenes really well so they could expand on that.  I just think YouTube would make them a bit of coin…..they have the brand and the audience….

It’s a big jump though relying on getting paid, and I think that’s been beneficial for them versus the nine club.  Respect to Vans for supporting them and skate culture in Canada…

Yeah true. I really enjoyed their video part reviews and post office specials. It seems like the post office is really taking off on its own so maybe we'll get a few long format pods throughout the off season

Agreed, one of the few nine club epis that was really solid. Was refreshing to hear him call himself out as worst teammate on this bunt episode lol by the sounds of it he wasn't wrong! You live and you learn...

The way Jimmy talks you would think he sounds like someone that would speak in meaningless fluff. But he’s actually genuine and insightful. Rad dude.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

i like jimmy a lot, he's a cool dude. i've told this story on here before but when they relaunched JSP i missed the drop for the first sweatpants saying "bummer, i was at work" or something like that and he DM'd me almost immediately and got me a pair. he still follows me on insta for no reason. even set aside a pair for me from their paterson collab that was super limited and only released in store. this was a good ep, he's a great interviewee.
Look I'm not selling anything that doesn't have my jizz on it. I don't care how much is offered.

I was cracking up how that’s how Tom K describes his reaction to every situation in his past
