Just wanted to say I knew the skater with the second question, and straight up annihilated all those fools. My girlfriend's pretending this is not an achievement worthy of praise (or even acknowledgement, for that matter), so I just thought I'd move my official announcement as the next superstar in the over 30's, American-Canadian online skateboarding quiz world to this place.

The team mates one was a clear signal, both board companies mentioned have had instantly recognizable names despite the 2nd one dying out almost 20 years ago.

In my memory he had an ad for Cliché too?? I was nowhere near getting the answer, myself. Love the bit about his dad, oi. Truly harsh!

I heard about a teenager (non-skateboarder) who broke his leg and while learning crutches tripped and broke an arm as well. It be like that sometimes!

Yeah, there was an ad welcoming him to the team, which Lance then saw and which made him give Wieger a call asking what the fuck he was up to. I remember Wieger somewhere saying that he only got two or three clips during his time in the U.S., and he just assumed he had seriously underperformed and failed the 'audition'. He took Lance's 'we'll keep in contact', when he dropped him off at the airport, as a mutually understood white lie to not make that situation any more tense or awkward. Seems like Wieger really dodged a bullet there. If Lance would have just said 'whatever, fuck that dude', and maybe spread the word on him, his chances would have been 0.

Technically half-bros, they got the same mom.

I believe he asked if they had time for an off-the-record story.

Ah, didn't catch that he specifically wanted it off record.
Well fuck that only makes me more curious.

Liking the pod but makes me feel like I've wasted my life (even more than usual)
Been getting random skater of the week within a couple clues every time. And I think that was at least the third person who doesn't know how fakie trick names work. Why'd I even bother learning all this shit? Obviously good skaters don't care lol

Are you talking about the part where he said “fakie switch back tail”?
Or did he say “switch fakie back tail”?
I know it was one of those .

I was wondering about that too, like WTF is that shit?

Yeah fakie switch back tail. Then Keelan was like fakie nosegrind flip and looked confused when they said fakie 5-0 etc. There's been plenty of them in the past so obvs it's just me being a nerd and it doesn't matter

Edit: actually it probably makes sense for him to say it like that as he was playing the tony hawk games since before everybody

Taylor Kirby told the same story, assuming they were on the same session during the Shep Dawg days.
