This is such a great surprise! Looking forward to the episode, Tosh is definitelly one of my all-time favourites. His TIS and Kids in Emerica stuff is so, so great.
Do they ask him about the vehicular homicide?

He came to my area and partied a few times around 2008-2009 and he was definitely hitting the opiates a bit hard by then. Super fun dude- kind of golden retriever vibes.

Nope, sort of glad they didn't. It would have placed a dark cloud over the entire interview. There is a point where he talks about his separation from his wife and how it is impacting his relationship with his daughter since they live so far away from him and where he is currently working. The vibe went somber for a few minutes there.

really liked the Tosh episode, I always assumed he would be very reserved for some reason but he didn’t hold back haha

Loved genuine and light hearted Tosh was. Sure he got real at one point, but showed how raw and real he is. Appreciate him for that.

Never heard about the car accidents. Honestly unfortunate. I get the resentment for them. I have a duality for it, and have heart for those who don’t.

Probably one of the better eps they’ve had for a lot of different reasons

I look forward to what Donovan’s imagination will feed us each week. Getting rescued by Nick Boserio during a skydiving accident sounds pretty sick

love the AVE bench saga from his perspective. Also, strange he fired shots at Brent Atchley wonder what happened there?

Great ep and a good prompt to re-watch Tosh's This Is My Element part which is way sicker than I remembered.

I got a good lol from Dono asking Tosh if he and Jake Rupp would hit the drum circles after demos

Word on the street is that Brent Atchley was an asshole back in the day. That could be it but I don't know fore sure. Just a theory.

May have been due to Brent’s alcohol use? Obviously he’s now turned his life around and does excellent work helping others with alcoholism.

I think the commercials are supposed to have this campy element of bad sports talk radio shows, I know when they first started they really played that up, it's this very stiff awkward thing, if youve never been stuck in someones dads car on the ride home from school the that only listens to talk radio about the Chicago Cubs or your local pro football team it doesn't really make sense.

I met Brent back in the day when he was the big dude on Element and he was super nice, I think he didn't like a lot of those dudes attitudes and rock star shit, he also seemed to hate being a pro skater or at least a pro skater for Element.

Do they ask him about the vehicular homicide?

I went on a hunt to find out more about this. Found an old SLAP thread that linked to this article https://www.thefreelibrary.com/Tosh+Townend.-a0108007446

Doesn't talk about the vehicular homicide at all, but does have this gem:
"What do you think about people criticizing your Emerica video part?

Oh, that's some guy named no one from some magazine. I just saw his little review. I wasn't too psyched, but it's chill. He's a hater
."
Hopefully not a kook, but if so, fuck it.

Awkward stiffness in a dad's car, together with some cubs. We've all been there.

Hahah good episode. I knew it at the no racism no war hint, I watched that video a bunch. I also had the Tampa 2001 411, i remember that Kyle Berard won the contest but I couldn’t remember the best trick.  The smith fs 180 was pretty big actually, he went to flat . I feel like he is well known for his rail skating.

Kewday was my giveaway. I’m not sure I ever laid eyes on a board, but apparently a Transworld news blurb got to me once upon a time. Bartie crushed the rails, in my opinion. Talented skater, for sure.

Well done Mason & Cephas!
