If Dill is anything it's that he's consistently Dill. Did anyone think that he'd just really come out of his shell and be a humble, level headed dude that doesn't constantly tell us about all the drugs he's done?

I went into it knowing who/what he is and actually enjoyed some of it.

I was trying to find a way to say this.
Dill has had 2 epicly later’ds. the one where’s he’s spitting blood on the wall and shit and then the one on viceland. It’s not really surprising. i haven’t finished this episode but the main thing off the bat i didn’t like was the “favorites” thing. that shit is stupid.

No shade to dono with this, he’s just a workin man listening to a self absorbed dork who’s obsessed with being perceived as a unique, weird genius trying to share wisdom that he doesn’t actually understand while thinking he’s subverting expectations at every turn.

I feel like Dill is constantly thinking “oh this will freak them out, they won’t expect this”

Dono is also a dad - sleep comes at a premium.

this was the best season yet when it came to pre and post interview conversations between the two of them... the post office and rundowns were especially great this season.

laughed outloud at the little aside from dill about how he hates when chicks say "ooh yummy" at dinner. so random to mention caught me right off guard. Also the postcard thing where he says that girls love to recieve mail is so classic. I feel like its very telling that he sends mail to his girlfriend not because he actually wants to do something nice for them or stay in touch while on a trip but just becuase he thinks/knows girls in general like recieving mail and it might get him laid when he gets back. Also how every other rapid fire the guests can just think of their favorite tricks they have filmed but for Dill its super "narcissistic" probably because he actually is a narcissist haha. good stories though the fred gall sneezing with the pizza was funny

I knew it when they announced it that he was gonna film his shit weird and be smoking the entire time to be as quirky and different as possible. He has some funny quips on occasion, but he ruins it by just going on and on and on. If he exercised restraint every once and a while and didn't say everything on his mind, he'd be a real cool dude.

Dill is super entertaining.  People knocking this interview are the same ones who can’t find the joy in a Marc Johnson interview.  You don’t have to agree with them or take them as serious as they take themselves, but damn they are entertaining.

I laughed out loud a few times. What a character.
"Pretty in an ugly way" had me dying.

And he seems so down to earth the last few years.

Tosh Townsend was the least familiar name for me out of the guests they had this season but his episode was easily my favorite. Another solid season, bummed it’s over already.

I made it as far as the megaphone, cussed out my tv, and went outside to skate in 100 degree weather instead.

this was the first full season i’ve listened too. kinda played myself by listening to like most of the older episodes at work during the week. barely got any good eps to listen to now haha

predictions for next season? guests you want to see?
i wanna see more double interviews and i hope they come thru with some off season shit like they said.
i think a patrick o’dell ep would be badass and i hope mitch has the last part in the bunt video🫡

Just came to say hats off to all those able to sit through that whole interview, I was not so brave.  Got 3 min in and was mentally exhausted so I skipped to the rapid fire which proved to be equally exhausting to listen to. Dill will be as Dill always is.

This season was better than last for me.  Would love to see Max Palmer or Benny Maglinao for next season, but that's just wishful thinking.

I love Dill and I really like that I can love him from a far and curated by the Bunt boys.  Hanging out with Dill would be like going back to 2010's and doing coke in a sweltering tiny apartment with someone who is desperate for everyone's attention while MGMT plays on repeat way too loudly.

I couldn’t make it through all of Dill. I don’t mind Dill it’s just hard when it’s stories I’ve heard over and over. Loved the Fred and Dill in the tenderloin stories tho.
I thought it wasnt just him solo, shouldve stuck with my og thought.

I've learned over the years to just not watch content with Dill talking. Major respect for that dude overall, I love hockey and FA and everything he's done, it's just too much for me.

Only thing I can ever remember being cool was the bobshirt thing. But that's the bobshirt effect

Dill is like The Doors.

I love The Doors but someone else’s argument for being totally annoyed by them is also pretty valid.

Weak ass rapid fire

The Freddy story with the excessive pepper on the pizza was pretty funny

I dont love The Doors, which probably makes your analgoy even truer.  I thought the episode was fun, got some new Dill stories, got some Dill being Dill (basically just an extended version of the 'voice-over' below.  ha.)... and particularly liked the bookending of the season as a whole with AVE/Dill

I'd argue skateboarding needs more Dill's and less Ryan Decenzo's and alt jock hucksters

i quite enjoyed the whole thing - made me smile often.

i remember spending all the money i had as a child on the dill vitas because my older brother (7 years older than me - so he was probably 18 and i was 11 i guess) had a pair and dill was his favourite skater. he was very upset/embarrassed that i had bought the exact same shoes as him, so he gave me his pair as well and bought some new shoes (i had a crazy growth spurt around that age and had the same size feet as him).

I shot up pretty wildly when I was about 9 and have been like, fully grown since about 11 (edit: about 5' 8"). It was pretty awkward until people started catching up to me around mid teens. Weird experience being the tallest person for what felt like a long time and then being a very average sized human for the rest of your life.
