@Pine have the bunt ever hit you up for an episode?
They should do!
Nah I haven’t. And I get it. They’re the homies but they like having people on that they’re actually stoked on their skating. Almost all of my tricks are illegal to them haha
If they ever do get you on @Pine make sure barns burn.
Im ready 😈 plenty of barns to burn 🔥 the best part is I have nothing to lose in the skate industry so no holding back for me haha
Would love to see you call out every previous guest that has cast shade your way
You know truthfully Im not even mad at being the "worst style" pick for a lot of people. The whole idea of rapid fire is to prompt people to talk shit so fair enough. However, there are pros who have thrown shade or been disrespectful for no reason at all outside of the podcast. Those are the ones I'd have something to say about.
What are your thoughts on Frankie Spears’ style?
Just catching up on episodes. Dude is about to go the Dadd/Salabanzi route and get himself blacklisted. It’s a funny transition from Shane O’Neill’s episode about running a business and not wanting guys who are hard to work with on the team and calling out self-cheering.
What did Salabanzi do ?
buy a guitar iirc
There are a ton of rumors. Salabanzi said he got kicked off Flip for self-cheering and not fitting their image or wanting to skate El Toro. It's hard to say, but it seems obvious he had a hugely inflated ego and was notoriously difficult to work with. That's why that Flip video got buried and why Spears' AWS part is going to get buried.
Salabanzi had a second wind with Primitive in 2015, but got kicked off after he started begging for money on insta to buy a dream guitar.
Also seems like kinda a dick in general.
