I liked the Leabres interview. I’m rooting for him to get picked up by a shoe brand.

It's funny because his pick for best style, Jon Dickson, I can't stand watching. Controversial I guess but he does this bow and smell armpits thing that is Dylan adjacent but worse imo. I don't think it's fake style cause hes skated like that even in his birdhouse days but I can't stand watching it. You can see it in people that want that style too. Andy Schrock skates like hes a Dickson fan. Obviously way worse.

I'm always weary of people who are overly nice in a unnatural way in person. A lot of the times they will do some sketchy shit and mask it with that personality. Not always, obviously sometimes people are just nice, but it's def a red flag that I'd pay attention to until I see otherwise. Other people with this personality: Sebo, TK, Daniel Lutheran, Julian Davidson, Dashawn Jordan.

All have that permasmile, and seem like they would nod at you while you talk while their eyes are glazed over, never blinking.

Wheatley was truly an excellent guest! I like his sincerity in talking about work and skateboarding and making videos. Dudes got the heart and the talent. Rick Howard giving little bitch energy is not cool!

Jalba aside, best episode so far imo. The Greco story is incredible. Wheatley is one of the best filmers out, everything he produces is gold. Would love to see him direct something full time in the future.
