I think his friedness is funny in moderation but him monologuing about his life story unprompted in gen z was wayyy too much. A couple quips were still funny, him saying he was for real acting - like some British guy had me laughing.

Yea man he’s also the only guest I can think of who really went into how hard it is to survive as an am skater in Los Angeles and the harsh financial realities he faced albeit in his fried way so I give him credit for that

Does anyone know what software/hardware they use for the podcast? Question is really for any podcast in general I guess. Any info is appreciated!

Cephas using a USB mic, maybe like this shure one linked below. Dono something similar. They probably record the show over Riverside or equivalent recording site. Then they have someone editing afterwords adding the logos etc. Starting a podcast isn't hard, but finding something relevant enough to talk about in an oversaturated market is. For cameras, they're probably at least using a Brio but they may have dedicated DSLR set ups since the show is weekly. Riverside or Streamyard raws are probably edited in something like Premiere but it would be easy to do in Descript. The fact that the layout doesn't change too much and the edits are so few suggests that too. But hey I'm literally guessing!

i feel like you either have to have experience with podcasts or similar kind of situations or your personality has to be kinda over the top. But if an average person just jumps on a podcast often they seem boring.  At least in my experience people who seem like natural funny guys on a podcast can be a bit much in real life


i think lucas is the first ever random skater i guessed before them. Loved the lucas premiere shoe and had way too many pairs. I think in some marketing interview for that shoe he mentions the no insole thing
